Quality leggings made in the US, size carefully for other items
Lunafide came up in a facebook ad and I clicked out of curiosity, forever resigning myself to the onslaught of algorithm-based ads I would receive in the future. I really appreciate that this company collaborates with artists to feature their designs and that the products are made in the US. While not all of the designs are to my taste, they do have some really unique patterns that are rendered phenomenally by their printing process. Most items are true in detail & color when you receive them. I've ordered leggings for myself and my pre-teen daughter and I feel like the sizing they offer as well as the quality of the garment construction (pattern piecing, flatlock seams, fabric thickness, consistency of sizing) is very high. I did receive 1 pair of leggings that looked nothing like the pictured pattern (mirage leggings) but what I got was the right size and not so far off the mark as to be something I wouldn't wear. It just wasn't at all what I expected and I can't identify the pattern based on anything they currently sell! I've ordered a few women's tank tops for myself and a top & shorts combination for my husband. The sizing on these other garments was a bit trickier; I did end up having to exchange the outfit I purchased for my husband and I was required to pay the return postage myself. They did issue me the store credit promptly upon receipt of the returned shirt and shorts so I could then re-purchase the items in the right size. I wish that the exchange process was more streamlined so that upon initiating the return, I could have gotten in the manufacturing queue for the replacements instead of waiting because it coincided with US shopping holidays and as a result fulfillment lagged. In addition to self-paid return, I also had an experience with their customer service department for a company-paid exchange. Instead of sending a women's medium, I received a unisex medium version of 1 tank top. Their customer service team asked me to send pictures of the garment w/a measuring tape to show the dimensions of what I received and they confirmed the manufacturing error. They promptly issued a USPS paid-postage return label so I could return the incorrectly-sized broken ivy tank top. I returned the item in early November and received the replacement in mid-December, so the exchange process did take some time. Thankfully it was something I bought for myself so I was not in a hurry and the fact that they make each item to order didn't bother me. The customer service agent's emails came at off times of night so replying and back and forth took about a day per message, but we got it done. Their blankets are very soft and warm, though I will say the sherpa fleece backing is a better value than the microfleece. The printed designs are bright and clear on the topside of the blanket and the stitching around the edges was secure on all three blankets I purchased as gifts. I would recommend this company, just be sure to choose the right size because the exchange process is slow and you'll have to pay shipping yourself unless they mess up.
