The ICE SAR works fine, but the strap is essentially trash. Luminox advertises their watches as ideal for every day wear and activities. Turns out the strap has stitching that tears apart and makes it look horrible. They have to lower the price of the timepiece by at least $100. For the price, there are way better options on the market.

Ordered watch online from Luminox, and received it with a note saying "sorry we can't provide you with an invoice with your shipment". Technical issue's (sic). However, they gave me option for e-mail invoice. Here we are a week and two requests later, still no invoice for a $900.00 product. The return authorization paperwork that accompanied the watch requires an invoice number for return.

I signed up with Luminox and received a 10% discount code. I immediately tried to buy my watch but it was sold out. Once I was alerted that it was back in stock I was denied my discount. I called Luminox and they denied it as well. I did nothing wrong but suffered because they were out of stock.

They sent me the wrong product

I was sent a product someone previously used and damaged. The literature had some gunk on it and the product unwrapped. The tag looked like it was well worn. The product could not change time and date. The second product came exactly as expected. I was never sent a tracking notification until the day it was due to arrive. The return process was started on July 6th, they responded on the 9th (sent Friday and responded Monday) and an RMA was not sent until July 13th. I sent the info they required three separate times after they requested the information needed for the RMA several times. After product was returned, a refund was quickly issued. My experience may have been uniquely poor but I will certainly be hesitant buying directly from the Luminox site in the future.

I paid for 2 day shipping and the watch came a day later. I sent a email requesting a refund for the 2 day shipping and got no response. Also there is no customer service or technical support. No what I expected from Luminox!

I'd like to think I'm not hard on watches, but I had to send my Luminox Blackout back to manufacturer once for overhaul after a fall from counter top height (shattered quartz, wouldn't keep time). A year later, same thing. Not sending it in/ paying for that again. Watch looks great but has shown to be very fragile.
