Product is worthless. Both my daughter and I tried the deodorant and our own body odor was worse than we’ve ever experienced. We tried it on many occasions throughout the month wondering if hormones impacted its efficacy- nope! I haven’t smelled this bad since 4th grade when my mom pulled me aside and said it’s time to wear deodorant daily. What a waste of money. Buyer beware.

I tried Lume because 'natural' deodorants do not work. I start to stink in a few hours. Lume works as advertised. For those who don't seem to understand this - deodorant is to stop smell - antiperspirant is to stop sweat. Lume is a deodorant. I have used two entire tubes of Lume with no skin issues whatsoever. I apply Lume before I get dressed. It leaves nothing on my clothing and keeps me stink free all day. I don't need to apply it everyday. Yes, you have to rub it in, even the stick works better if you rub it in, but it dries in a snap and you can dress almost immediately. Will Lume work for every single person? No. Can Lume cause skin issues in some people? Yes. That is how the world works. It isn't a failure of the product or advertisement skewing. For loads of people, Lume works as advertised and is worth the price. A tube lasts a very long so you buy it less often.

Horrible smell can’t even say how bad used it 1 hour and removed for the smell actually made me almost vomit! Then left a horrible itchy rash I am still dealing with two weeks later very concerned about the rash for it isn’t getting better as of yet just my experience.

I started using Lume one day. It felt really gritty going on and the scent wasn't too pleasant. I continued to use as directed, and to my demise I have experienced horrible burns under my armpits and under and in between my breasts. I have had a horrible and unrelenting reaction, I'm in constant pain every day, nothing soothes the burn or the itch OR the smell. My clothes hurt when they touch any of the burns and I'm afraid to go back to my old deodorant or put anything on my skin at this point which is definitely not ideal. I have tried everything to help soothe my skin and have cried several nights due to the situation. This is the most sever allergic reaction/chemical burn I have ever experienced. This burns and looks as though my skin is actively melting. The pain is excruciating and the burning is unbearable. The smell from under my arms is embarrassing and GOD AWFUL! I'll be reporting this to Lume and will be expecting a full refund. This was my experience and I hope you have a much different one. Thankfully I am seeing my dermatologist this week.

I personally love Lume. I was really struggling with BO due to a new medication I was on and I tried everything. Arm pit detoxes. Exfoliating like crazy. Several different soaps. I was even washing myself 3 times each shower. I even used the clinical strength deodorants. So I finally tried Lume and I'm forever hooked. It gets me through the day, it doesn't usually last more than a day though, for me. But, finally, something that works. I use the unscented one and it has a bit of an odor before it soaks in. But once it dries and soaks in, I don't smell anything at all.

While it does an excellent job of odor reduction, it is not an antiperspirant and does not keep you dry, which is why I tried it in the first place.
