I am celebrating my 3 year "tradaversery" today. I have been with LST for 3 years and am amazed every time I look at my account. I am not a rich man by any stretch but have followed the framework teachings of Troy, John, and the whole LST group. Over that time I turned my initial $2000.00 investment into over $25000.00 profit. I have followed Troy Broussard for over 10 years and will say I have never known anyone with more passion to serve the needs of his followers than he. When I joined we did not have all the bells and whistles we have now. I remember tracking my trades on a legal pad(which I still have) and now we have the most awesome software for keeping track of our portfolios ever. I am not a person who could easily save money and this course has over delivered for me teaching patience and discipline and weekly contribution can turn your financial life around. These are people who really care about YOUR success and I highly recommend them.

Life-changing framework for creating…
Life-changing framework for creating weekly cash flow. Owners are responsive and transparent. Also, the community is full of smart, successful people who help out as well. 5 stars all the way.

Low Stress Trading is a great company…
Low Stress Trading is a great company with a top-notch leadership team Low! The courses and well planned and comprehensive. I’m pleased with the education, technology, and community. Put in the time and you will have success.
They also offer additional optional courses which are related to the main course. All were an excellent value that more than paid for themselves quickly.

I'm about to go over $10,000 in profit…
I'm about to go over $10,000 in profit with Low Stress Trading since I started last December. I've had some options trading experience in the past, but was never able to "put it all together," so this was right up my alley. Add me to the list of people who couldn't be happier with the program. I'm grateful to Tom Woods for making the recommendation; otherwise I never would have found it. I've come to view Troy Broussard, developer of LST, as a certifiable genius, and I have a hunch many in the community would agree with me. If you're looking for a legitimate path to financial security for you and your family, do yourself a favor and check out Low Stress Trading.

The upselling is absolutely relentless...
The upselling is absolutely relentless. On the two owners birthdays, instead of giving something away to the community to celebrate, they CHARGE for silly AI written add-ons or their favorite "six" stocks. Weird because they aren't registered and should not be giving "financial advice".
I agree with the most recent post by David below me.
Owner Troy has the ego the size of Mars and can do no wrong.
The community is instructed to not look at or pay attention to unrealized losses. The whole program is predicated on stocks that go against you coming back up to the price you originally bought them at. It's a dangerous game these people are playing

No business can stay in business selling a single product. It doesn't work for the grocery stores, the car dealerships, or even the movie theaters. We have monthly costs and have to earn money monthly to stay in business and cover those expenses. We have also invested more than $2M into building this platform which we entirely own — that is not easy and most of our so-called competitors host stuff on Discord or Facebook or something like that. We don't, we protect your privacy and built our own platform.
None of the extra programs we sell are presented as required or necessary. To the contrary, we go out of our way to say that if you haven't made back your investment in the program with the core training to not buy anything else. Nothing is "missing" in the core framework we sell and teach either. The other programs are simply offers to go deeper for those that really enjoy trading and want to continue to learn.
We don't use AI - in fact, it's prohibited in our company and in the community as well (it's quite literally one of our rules of conduct that prohibits it). So. your statements there are completely off base.
As I responded to David's very thorough review, our tracking is not incomplete or incorrect. We simply focus on REALIZED gains and not UNREALIZED losses. Neither is right or wrong. Choosing to focus out of fear on a loss you have not realized seems far more dubious than actually tracking the realized gains you have made. Both systems balance out and are technically correct and claw back losses or gains when appropriate as positions close. This is no different than accrual based accounting and cash-based accounting. Neither is wrong, they're just different perspectives.
We focus on what you can control, the realized values. if you want to focus on something that doesn't exist, that is absolutely your choice. But it is all in the word itself... UNREALized is just that... UNREAL and theoretical until you actually close the trade.
We're not playing games and there is far more danger to focus on UNREAL values than cash in the bank. How anyone can even make a case differently is the part that is dangerous. You can't pay your mortgage with unrealized gains and you can't lose money with unrealized losses.
I also hosted an extensive 2+ hour discussion on this very topic LIVE a few weeks ago for the students in the community.
Anyway, good luck with your trading and thanks for giving us a shot even though it wasn't a good fit for you.

Solid Trading Framework, But Structural and Cultural Issues Hold it Back
I want to thank Troy and John for developing the Low Stress Options framework. This variant of the Wheel Strategy helps members gain proficiency in options trading within months. The founders are passionate and have had great success with their model. While I still follow the framework to generate weekly premiums, I ended my membership after a year due to operational issues and management's unwillingness to address them.
Because the owners regularly read and reply to reviews, I am sharing this feedback as a constructive roadmap for improvement.
1. Broken Commitments and Aggressive Course Monetization
When I evaluated LSO on an introductory call, Troy promised the course provided everything needed to trade their framework, and that beyond the monthly fee, we would never be asked to buy additional courses to implement it. That commitment has proven untrue.
Rather than expanding content for members paying $100/month, the owners constantly monetize topics relevant to the core framework—rolling out paid courses for position entry, stock selection, and case studies on managing losing trades. Stock selection was particularly frustrating: original training was weak on fundamentals and later removed, with members told they were getting "too bogged down" in researching companies they were only trading on for a week. Yet when trades went south, members were chastised for weak research. Rather than fixing the core curriculum, a new paid fundamentals course was created. On one call, Troy proudly announced that he has dozens of ideas for additional courses, confirming this paywalled approach is their permanent model.
I have no issue with premium add-ons for distinct strategies like Bitcoin. However, locking supplementary material that impacts core framework execution behind new paywalls contradicts initial commitments. Early members should be grandfathered under their original enrollment terms.
2. Intrusive Marketing
Aggressive marketing has bled directly into the core membership experience, with upsell messaging flooding member emails, alerts, and community posts with no way to opt out. Most frustratingly, weekly live calls frequently lead with pitches. Forcing a global audience of paying members—who tune in awaiting John's weekly trades—to sit through advertisements before getting to critical trading content is a poor member experience. This issue has been raised, but the owners seem indifferent to the needs of their members.
3. Lack of Reference Material & Structural Noise
Training relies entirely on video content with no written reference guides. When members spot conflicting guidance within or across videos, they are told to simply "re-watch the training" rather than resolving the contradiction. Additionally, the community feed is cluttered with noise that drowns out critical educational posts. Without anonymous surveys, Trustpilot remains the primary feedback mechanism—usually submitted after a member leaves.
4. Unrealistic Metrics & Incomplete Call Guidance
Marketing metrics like 1% weekly returns are misleading because they disregard unrealized losses when positions go DITM, locking up capital for months. While put mechanics are solid, guidance lacks depth for managing covered calls sold below assignment price when a stock rises sharply. While no formula works in every case—and none is expected—a complete framework should offer clear guidelines for weighing multi-month rolls against mean reversion. Without this guidance, capital gets trapped in stagnant positions, dragging down net returns.
5. Communication Tone & Feedback Deflection
Communication culture has grown increasingly defensive and unprofessional. Public venting about members "not following the framework" is unfair given that platform search functionality is poor—requiring exact-phrase matching rather than allowing boolean filters to search historical topics. Valid questions on unrealized losses or mechanics are deflected as "mindset issues" or "nuance." When constructive posts on framework challenges gain momentum, owners lock the thread to shut down discussion. A pattern exists of taking credit for member wins while blaming members for going "off-strategy" when on-strategy trades face headwinds. This heavy-handed moderation discourages members from asking legitimate questions out of fear of public backlash or expulsion.
Summary:
The core framework works, but these issues diminish ongoing membership value once you learn the basics—especially when software and research gaps can be filled elsewhere for a fraction of the cost. If management learns to accept constructive feedback rather than fighting it, this program could truly be five-star.

Thanks for taking the time to leave a detailed review David and thank you for the acknowledgment of our program and passion for it. Let me address your numbered points directly.
1. I have never made such a promise. I promise on the sales call that there are no upsells when you purchase the core framework. Our competitors frequently have 5 or more upsells right when you join which is disingenuous because you have no idea if what you just bought works. We do sell other courses later on, but we are very clear and go out of our way to tell you that you don't need them unless you want to go deeper with trading and have already made your money back with the core program. Everything you need to be successful is included in our core program.
You seem to think that we owe everything for the $100 a month. The truth is that we have massively expanded what is included in that $100 monthly and it has never been raised in four years. We didn't include reporting, tracking, filtering, labels, full text course search, scanners and other tools, getting started calls, my first trade calls, Friday rolling calls, or many of the other features we now include in that $100 monthly when we launched 4-years ago. So I do take exception to your comment that we're not including more with the product, we have, you just haven't been around long to see it.
2. We are businessmen and marketers. It is not intrusive to those that want to learn. We have a six-figure monthly payroll and have invested over $2M+ into building the platform. We won't apologize for selling other trainings and products, just like Walmart doesn't sell one item and the movie theatre has the audacity to show previews of other movies you might want to buy. If you're offended by this, then I wish you well with another program that can stay in business making one sale for the lifetime of their customers.
3. There is no lack of reference material. All of the material you need to be successful is included in video format. Just because you want it a different way, doesn't mean anything is lacking, just not to your preference. And that's fine, you can have it your way, just not with us. That's the beauty of free trade, I'm sure there are other platforms that will give you everything written and cheat sheets and such. We focus on deep learning and don't cater to the tik-tok culture wanting curt answers with no context.
4. Our metrics are not misguided. I always am amazed how people obsess about unrealized losses when the very word is UNREAL(ized). That loss is UNREAL by definition. Similarly, accounting can be tracked with accrual methods or cash-based accounting. Neither is right, neither is wrong. They are two different perspectives. Our methodology is cash-based and is REAL because it focuses on REALI(ized) gains. It may not be your preference, that's fine, but saying it is incomplete is factually incorrect.
5. You're correct, our search could definitely be better and we are actively working on all sorts of boolean logic. We do, however, have full text search, even within our video content as well as tagging, filtering, hashtags and labeling for bookmarking content.
So while not perfect for sure, it is quite thorough. When you have some students that have been trading 4 years with us mixed with some that just started last week, yes, it's always a balance to merge those expectations. In the future, we will be segmenting new students so that they get more attention and patience without throwing them into the fold with the more experienced traders. That will come in a future enhancement.
Lastly, when you say that this can all be achieved elsewhere for a fraction of the cost, I strongly disagree. Our cost is extremely affordable in the marketplace and very comprehensive. But that is your opinion and you're welcome to it, of course. Good luck with your trading and thanks again for being as student and taking the time to leave your feedback.

Exceptional Training - Exceptional Experience
Both Troy and John are great instructors and they want to make sure all of their students succeed in the options trading world. If anyone complains, it's usually because they strayed from the foundational structure. Highly recommend ! ! !
