I’ve been using this app for about 10 years and I’ve been very happy with it in the past. But I am NOT happy with the latest update. It used to be relatively easy to find my foods (or something similar). Now it’s complicated to log almost anything. And there was no reason to move the “Done Logging” button to the middle of the screen. Please put it back the way it was!!! Updates are supposed to make things easier, not more complicated!

I really like this app. Has most of the same features as my fitness pal but for free. You have to be careful to make sure the weights are right as some people create new items/meals and don't do it correctly but other than that it's pretty good.

This was my very first experience with a "nutritional app" and I am so grateful for what it helped me to accomplish. (I lost 20 pounds with it's guidance and education and MY self control.) It is simple, simple, to log food and (I know this may sound silly) appreciate that the site is colorful and has screen options of personalization. The reason for the "less one star" review is because I spent HOURS trying to connect it with Garmin Venu 3, so I could have a "calorie bonus" from my steps and exercise, and I could not get it accomplished. I also learned that the web-site is not "supported," so there were not trouble-shooting helps there and there is no customer service support. For those who are just wanting a super simple and efficient way to log (and learn about) calories and nutrients, and do not need to trouble-shoot a device connectivity issue, this is a great platform. UPDATE: Became a Lifetime Lose It! member (yay) but still having trouble toggling with my (now) Venu 4 (boo). Also, still no customer service available. Garmin, thankfully, has awesome customer service and I happened to visit with one who uses LoseIt! himself, so he knew the tricks.

I bought the paid version, one time cost of 700 SEK and I’ve used it for two years without ads. A cheap sum to invest in your own health for several years. It’s a good app, I could enjoy more smart ai functionality but I think overall it’s a good app that help me loose weight in a controlled manner.

On the whole, I've been happy with this app. While I've always been mindful of the number of calories I consume, I've learned a lot about the importance of macronutrients and having approximately a third of your calories be counted as protein, a third for fat, and a third for carbohydrates. It was also helpful to be given the number of calories to consume to lose weight and reach my goal. The one suggestion I have is that supermarket brands could be updated to expand upon what items fall under a brand name and introduce new mainstream brands. The same would apply to restaurants as far as menu items, etc.

I utilized the paid version of “Lose it!” During a 75lb weight loss. It was extremely helpful and I felt the cost was reasonable to support the devs of something I was using consistently throughout the day. The free version, while fine, is definitely geared towards making you want to pay. Annoying ads and limited access to inspiring and helpful features feels more like a detriment than an enticement. Lose it is not unique, there are many comparable apps on the market with less aggressive free versions.

I use the free version and have done on and off for a few years. This time round I'm going to stick with it and actually get the weight off for good. Tracking can be hit or miss depending on who's original data it was but you can click 'verified only' which will give you most accurate calories
