Lola - Added Expense and Frustration to Travel

Where's the VALUE? I have had several reservations BOOKED FOR THE WRONG DATES (booked by the chat person with dates clearly given and emailed back to me), not able to select specific flights and connecting flights, missing out on points for hotel stays, and CHARGED MORE ON LOLA for what I could have booked items at directly with the hotel or airline - SEVERAL TIMES. I have reported this to my company's team managing Lola. For me to take the time and contact Lola letting them know each time I found a better deal is COSTING MY COMPANY MORE IN MY TIME ALONE. On using the mobile app to find a hotel in Las Vegas, the search came up blank - showing me NO HOTELS SHOWING FOR LAS VEGAS. I did this several times right now - blank. I have had to change plans made thru Lola - A NIGHTMARE. You cannot deal with the airline or hotel directly (most hotels indicated they were made thru EXPEDIA), and when calling the Lola number it rang and rang 15+ times and NO ONE ANSWERED - tried this several times. I finally resorted to the chat, which I find too difficult to use when trying to make multiple changes. Trying to have Lola chat book a room for me, I was told THEY COULD NOT DO THAT, and I was left on my own. Overall, I have used the app for travel per our corporate policy, but find it CHARGING MORE, TAKING MORE TIME, and DIFFICULT TO MAKE TRAVEL CHANGES than it would if I did it myself. Try standing at the front desk of a hotel booked via Lola and have them tell you they cannot help you because the reservation was made thru EXPEDIA? I am trying to understand the value in using the Lola service, and still searching...

Your service is terrible
Your service is terrible. I tried booking flights and cars through your service and each time it took WAY too long to get anything done. On top of that, your prices were more expensive than the service I was already using.

The itinerary shown to me in Lola was incorrect
The itinerary shown to me in Lola was not correct. If I hadn't called the airline, I would've missed my flight.

Hi Terry, Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. While we have a ton of inventory in lola, we do not have rates like basic economy that tend to be the lowest class. We do access our inventory from multiple different places to ensure we have the best rates for you. Your prices are so far much more than I can procure by myself on Expedia, kayak or even my airline's website. Same hotel, yet your price is $50+ dollars more for the same room type reservation.

Use another app
Lola provides nothing to the travel consumer that other sites are not already providing and better. There is no rerouting assistance when connections are missed. The fares are higher than booking direct. Frequent flyer program benefits are diminished. Lola would have to significantly retool itself to be a viable product.

We have access to a large amount of inventory however, we don’t have basic economy flights at this time, which is the lowest fare cabin class. It's not a good site to find travel…
It's not a good site to find travel options, and the emails it produces can't be consumed by TripIt. If it wasn't mandated as a tool for work, I wouldn't use it.
