Lost money on almost all properties I bought tokens.
I am still trying to get my last 1000 dollars out. I try to sell the tokens but says I cannot do to the houses are being listed for sale. I check back every month and same message but nothing updated on houses page s stating it is for sell or sold.
Do not invest here, run away fast.

So absolutely disappointed with this…
So absolutely disappointed with this company to say the least!! I invested over $100K and lost a lot of money...I bought tokens at $50 dollars each and just recently properties are being sold at $6 per token and there is nothing we can do about it! The customer service messaging was taken down and the only way to get any help or communicate with them is via e-mail which they are for the most part unresponsive. I have invested all of my savings and I am slowly, helplessly watching it disappear!!!

Hi Carla,
We looked up the claims in this review.
There is no investor named Carla with over $100k invested. No property on Lofty has sold at $6 a share. A property only sells on the traditional market if investors vote to sell and a Supermajority passes it. Investors decide that, so it is not true that there is nothing anyone can do.
In-app customer messaging is still live, and we have no support tickets under your name or anyone writing in with this story.
If you have an account, email [email protected] from the address you registered with and we'll look it up. If you don't, we'll report the review to Trustpilot.

Lofty fails to allow all investors the same level of access
7/8/26 - Credit where credit is due. I have now been granted access to the Lofty Discord after nearly 8 months of being removed. I’m not sure if it was Lofty’s team or new moderators who were ultimately responsible, but glad that it has been resolved.
6/22/26 - Another month later, and an update request later, the team at Lofty has still yet to provide an answer for when they will be adding me back to the Discord as they have indicated they would do. For those following along, it has been nearly 7 months since all of this began. Lofty has been delaying and obfuscating since that time.
5/22/26- I have run out of space on my other review, please refer to it for more details. On April 24th, Jerry(the CEO) challenged me to file a lawsuit against them. I responded to them, informing them that I am not a litigious person, I am only requesting for them to either follow through on their previous statements/commitments to reinstate me to the Discord, or to inform me if they have changed their mind. I have not received any response from them addressing this request. I will continue to update until they either re-instate me, or they inform me that they will not be doing so.

I lost $199,500!!!
I lost $199,500!!!! After I received my deposit, they simply disabled my account and I can't log in. No one is responding to emails or chat. They're scammers!!!
Receipt from Lofty AI
Receipt #1587-8896
Amount paid
$199,500.00
Date paid
Nov 19, 2025, 11:59:54 PM
Summary
Lofty Wallet Deposit × 1 $199,500.00
Amount paid $199,500.00
UDP: No one contacted me or responded to my email. They said in the chat that they needed a video call and then they were silent all day.
Day 2 results:
There's still no response to email, no response in chat, the account is blocked, and there's no access to the money ($199,500). This company thinks the blocked account is your problem alone. I'm still waiting for a Zoom call.
Day 3 results: Completely ignored in chat, by email, found their discord, after a conversation was started with the goal of getting answers to their silence, I was removed from the server, but the administration did not answer my questions
UPD: In their discord from admin:
"Or maybe this Joyce person that is posting here isn't actually Joyce, who is a 74 year old lady in real life and extremely unlikely to know how to use Discord, Lofty, or any blokchain related product.
Maybe the person posting here is actually a 30 something year old German dude who has stolen the identity and bank login of poor old Joyce and trying to steal probably her life savings.
And maybe it's a great thing that person isn't succeeding in doing so?
And finally, maybe people should stop talking about things they don't understand or have first hand details of and believe in the post of every single anonymous user 🤷♂️"
They blocked the funds and are now making up stories just to avoid returning the money! Well, I'll have to contact other authorities, those brazen scammers!
UPD I completed additional verification via Zoom video call. The manager said the account would be unblocked within two hours. However, the next day arrived, and nothing had changed. The company continued to withhold funds without cause and still didn't respond to email or chat inquiries. They've been holding my money for 10 days!
UPD It's been 3 days since I passed video verification, but the account hasn't been unblocked. They continue to illegally withhold my money.
UPD A week has passed since I passed video verification, the account has not been unblocked, the money has not been returned, and there is no response to messages

Hello — due to the size of your deposit, it triggered an additional KYC review, which automatically locked your account temporarily. Our team will be reaching out to you right away.

They keep your money after logging you out of your account
I had my account with lofty with money in it. At some point I got busy with life and stopped checking it. Now I try to log in, it says my password is not correct. So I clicked forgot to reset it, it says it’s reset, and still doesn’t let me log in. Now it’s asking for a code from an authenticator app, which I never set up. Or a backup code that I was never given. Have tried to contact support and no one responds. So now I can’t even take my money out. Beware, don’t “invest” your money on this app unless you feel generous and want to give it to them.

Hi Marilyn, it sounds like this is likely an issue with Two Factor Authentication (2FA), which is required for all users to increase security. We tried finding your conversation with our support team, but were unable to. Please email me at [email protected] and I'll personally make sure you're able to access your account right away.

Lofty is just a marketplace with no…
Lofty is just a marketplace with no real protections for buyers. A property may have an inspection report that passes with flying colors when it gets listed on the marketplace but once someone else takes over and another inspection report is done, the property has multiple issues that need to be fixed. Property data isn't always up to date on the website so it can be hard to make informed investing decisions.

Hi there, It looks like there may be some confusion about how our platform works, and I’d be happy to clarify. Lofty is a peer-to-peer marketplace where property owners sell fractional ownership in their properties to investors. When a property is listed, we provide all due diligence materials, including a professional inspection report, appraisal, title report, lease agreements, LLC documents, and much more.
Lofty does not own or endorse the properties on our marketplace—investors conduct their own due diligence and make investment decisions based on their risk tolerance. Additionally, property owners can propose a vote to change property managers at any time, and this has occurred multiple times in the past.
If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to me directly at [email protected]. I’d be happy to assist!

Poor User Experience
I'm struggling to even begin this review. Perhaps I should use AI to write it, similar to how Lofty AI handles their help tickets.
Lofty AI's homepage boasts, "Buy and sell real estate as effortlessly as trading a share of TSLA." This is a blatant misrepresentation. I've traded stocks and invested in other real estate, and this platform is nowhere near as simple as buying a share of Tesla. It's incredibly deceptive.
As other reviewers have noted, withdrawing funds is a major hurdle. I've personally experienced this: I've contacted support, yet my money remains inaccessible.
I would strongly recommend exploring alternative platforms.
Initially, I was optimistic about Lofty AI and its concept. However, my experience has steadily declined over time.
I anticipate a response from Lofty to this review—ironically, this response will likely be faster than their actual chat support.
When I first invested, I had high hopes and believed this would be a valuable way to diversify my portfolio. Now, I feel compelled to issue a strong buyer beware.

Hi Jeffrey, this is Max with Lofty. There looks to be some confusion on how our platform works, so I'm happy to clear that up.
I spoke with our support team, and it appears you were attempting to withdraw funds before you actually sold your property on the marketplace. Like with stocks, you would need to actually sell the stocks before you're able to withdraw your funds.
On Lofty, your fractions can be listed for sale anytime by clicking the "Sell" button on the respective property pages. Once your fractions are sold, you're then able to withdraw the funds (USDC) directly to the bank account as USD via our platform, or you can send the funds to Coinbase or another exchange.
I'd be happy to walk you through this exact process, so please don't hesitate to reach out to me at [email protected] anytime.

Sounds like a great idea! What a terrible investment!
Great idea for the platform owners, they probably make great money. The investors like me however, not so much.
They make it easy to invest and buy property tokens. However, selling those tokens for even close to what you paid is a challenge. I purchased most tokens for $50, I sold my last batch for $21, for a whopping 58% loss. All properties I invested in are very poorly run and mostly post losses, not profits. Then pulling your money out of the platform was another major challenge. I contacted support for months and they pointed me to a complicated process that did not work. Finally, a random user on the platform helped me move my money out through crypto wallets.
I truly regret ever investing in this platform.

Hi there, thank you for your review. To clear up any confusion, property tokens can be listed for sale on the marketplace anytime, there is no lock-up period.
For most properties, property tokens can be sold instantly without having to match with a counterparty via our automated market making service. Simply choose the "market" order option, and you can sell your tokens instantly at the market price.
It's important to note that Lofty is not a fund. We do not purchase properties, flip them, and then sell them on our website to users.
Instead, we are a marketplace like Airbnb, eBay, or Amazon.
The Lofty marketplace consists of buyers (token investors) and third party sellers (people who want to sell their properties).
Because Lofty is a peer-to-peer marketplace, we do not recommend investments. Instead, we provide as much due diligence material as possible so investors can invest based on their own risk tolerance. This due diligence material includes inspection reports, appraisals, title reports, rent rolls, P&L's, and much more.
Plenty of investors are selling tokens in their properties above the original $50 purchase value, which can be seen by going to our marketplace - https://www.lofty.ai/marketplace
Regarding having issues pulling your money out of the platform, we have not received this feedback before because there is a "Withdraw" button you can click that lets you send funds directly from your Lofty account to your bank account. This button is front-and-center and prominent in your Lofty account page, and it takes less than a few minutes to withdraw your funds.
You do not have to use our "Withdraw" feature, as there are plenty of other ways to withdraw your funds. You can also choose to send the USDC you receive from selling property tokens to Coinbase or other exchanges. We have more information on this in our Learning Center, and our support team is available anytime to answer your questions.
