It is with a heavy heart that I have to write this poor review of Live365. I first signed up with this company, to start my station, many years ago, literally over twenty years ago, so still kind of feel some loyalty towards them. Which is why it has taken me this long to finally decide whether to write this review or not. After a few years of being with them, I stopped my station, my decision, but came back to live 365 in recent years. I was so happy to learn that I also had the opportunity to pay extra and bolt on the TuneIn option which not only gave me more listeners, my fanbase was now mostly in the USA and the UK where I live! It also enabled listers to tell Alexa to play my station without opening any Live365 skill, just like the big radio stations! I spent a lot of money on publicity, building a website and hiring voice actors for the jingles, then out of nowhere, my station was no longer being carried by TuneIn for UK listeners, which also meant I could not listen to or monitor my own station via my many Alexa speakers around my house. I reached out to Live365 and all they could say was TuneIn do not carry UK stations for a UK audience, via Live365. I naturally thought that was odd, because they were literally doing so previously! Then after a few days, my station was reinstated again on TuneIn for UK listeners! Go figure! However, Live365 still maintained they are not aware that listeners in the UK were allowed to listen to my station via TuneIn, in the UK. So basically if it goes again, it is not part of the deal anyway. I accepted what they said; however, and low and behold, a few months later, TuneIn stopped listeners in the UK listening to my station again via their platform. Which meant no direct Alexa listening and my audience figures, which was not big by any imagination but big enough to keep me happy, tanked! I had no listers left at all! To sum up, I wasted a lot of money for a service that is not stable or guaranteed. I know it is a third party bolt on, but it's a bolt on I pay Live365 for. So the buck stops with them. Despite the fact that Live365 has a skill to enable listening via Alexa, it made no difference, my audience was gone, dead, without TuneIn, which is where my audience was built from. I MISS MY STATION!

While TuneIn is a third-party service with its own geographic licensing and distribution policies—which can unfortunately fluctuate—we recognize that when you purchase an add-on service through us, you expect a consistent and reliable experience. At this time, TuneIn only supports distribution through Live365 in the US and Canada. We are working with PPL and PRS to ensure distribution in the UK, with the purchase of our UK Licensing add-on.
