BUYER BEWARE! LIT METHOD DOES NOT HONOR WARRANTY! I bought a plunge tub and chiller from lit method and a few months back the chiller just stopped working. After contacting lit method and confirming that all necessary maintenance was completed and that was still under warranty, they agreed to send a replacement unit out as soon as a shipment of them arrived in. They then proceeded to give me excuses for 2 MONTHS on why they still hadn’t sent a replacement. Fast forward to a couple days past my warranty expiring, they reached back out to me to say that it’s no longer their problem and they won’t be replacing anything. We will now be communicating with them via a lawyer, to try to recoup some of the thousands of dollars wasted on their faulty product and shady business practices.

Chiller broke after 4 months
Chiller broke after 4 months. They wouldn’t replace or refund. Luckily I have a brother in law who can fix anything. He opened the chiller unit and the ozone injector was busted and pumping air into the system… LIT initially tried to troubleshoot. Then blamed user error. Then blamed user maintenance. Then refused replacement and refund. I am so thankful my brother in law fixed my $4000 purchase mistake. LIT knowingly put a $50 cheap plastic part into a $4000 appliance. I’m assuming this is why the newer units don’t have the ozone injector at all now. Their response to this review was focusing on the fact that they can’t verify whether I am a customer or not. Rather than owning up to their faulty equipment that I’m not even asking for a refund for anymore since my brother in law was able to sort it out. All in all, not a great experience to work with LIT.

5* reviews have to be bots
As many others have mentioned, the shipping times are terrible with minimal if any communication, the product durability is horrendous (chiller broke after three months), and the constant run around is exhausting. Easily the worst purchase of 2025.
Update 9/16:
The replacement chiller has finally arrived. Been in contact personally with a member of the Lit team. Hoping to get the new chiller up and running next month. Will update again after the first of the year once the new chiller has been operational longer than the initial one (~2 months)
Update 10/21/26
New chiller arrived in excellent condition. The problem? They changed the size of the fitting on the chiller from 1/2 inch to 3/4 inch. So the hoses no longer connect to the barrel without an adapter that Lit failed to notify me or or provide. I even reached out to my direct point of contact with the company and got no response. I know they're trying to expand into the commercial market. I'd advise anyone, residential or commercial to pick a different brand.

Do not do business with Lit Method
Do not purchase a sauna from this company. I was genuinely excited to purchase a Lit Method sauna, but the experience has been one of the most frustrating customer service experiences I've ever had due to their predatory business practices.
The delivery failed because of the delivery method Lit Method chose and authorized, not because of anything in my control. For a sauna weighing over 400 pounds, Lit Method arranged for a delivery with only one person. The driver told me he couldn't even get the crate over the small curb to my property and would have to leave it in the street. Leaving a 400+ lb sauna in the street is not a legitimate delivery.
Once it became clear that the delivery method Lit Method had approved was inadequate, the shipping company attempted multiple times to contact Lit Method to authorize a different delivery arrangement. According to the shipping company, they received no response. I was also in constant communication with the carrier and tried everything I could to help coordinate a successful delivery, but they could not proceed without Lit Method's approval.
I have now called Lit Method well over a dozen times trying to resolve a problem that exists because of the delivery service they selected. Every conversation ended with, "We'll get back to you," yet I never received any meaningful follow-up, no updated delivery plan, and no indication of when or how my sauna would actually be delivered.
The only thing Lit Method has been consistently responsive about is threatening to charge me a $2,000 restocking fee if the order is canceled. That is especially troubling when the reason I haven't received the product is because the delivery method they authorized was incapable of completing the delivery in the first place.
Instead of taking responsibility for a delivery failure caused by their own logistics decisions, Lit Method has left me in limbo while repeatedly reminding me of a substantial financial penalty if I cancel. As a customer, I feel like I've been asked to bear the consequences of their mistake.
A company selling premium products should stand behind its logistics and work with customers when problems arise. My experience with Lit Method has been the opposite: poor planning, nonexistent customer service, and a complete unwillingness to resolve a delivery issue that was created by the company's own decisions. I cannot recommend doing business with them.

I was promised my Lit Cold Plunge within two weeks. It took more than three months, and even then it was one excuse after another. Every promised delivery date turned into another delay—a week, then another week, then another week.
The customer service experience was just as disappointing. While some representatives tried to help, the salesperson I dealt with was one of the most disrespectful people I’ve ever worked with. He was arrogant, condescending, and repeatedly blamed me for being impatient instead of taking responsibility for their broken promises. I never received a genuine apology or any real acknowledgment of how badly they handled the situation.
The cold plunge was a gift for my son, and watching him wait month after month was incredibly frustrating. Instead of fixing the problem, they kept sending me “complimentary” filters. At this point, I’ve received 16 free filters (four packs) because they’ve made so many mistakes. Free filters don’t make up for months of missed promises.
Eventually, I told them to take the plunge back—I didn’t want it anymore. My advice is to protect yourself by paying with a credit card, such as American Express, so you have the option to dispute the charge if things go wrong.
Before buying, read the reviews carefully. A significant portion of their reviews are one star, and after my experience, I completely understand why.
This company has been an absolute disaster from start to finish. Don’t just walk away—run.

Untrustworthy and non responsive
I purchased a high end cold plunge tub and cooler from LIT Method about a year ago and all the sudden the cooler is stuck on an endless cycle of rebooting. I called the manufacturer first and who wasted my time and called LIT Method a week ago. I provided all the requested info over 3 days ago and have not heard from their service team since, even after several emails requesting an update. Now, they are not even answering calls during their posted hours on the LIT Method website.
I'm sitting with a $10K system that has not been operational for over 3 weeks, and LIT Method support has shown absolutely no sense of urgency in helping resolve this issue.
Do not waste your time and money with this company that clearly doesn't care about their customers or providing support for the products they sell. I recommend finding a more reputable company for your sauna and cold plunge needs.

If I could give it zero stars I would!

Worst company ever! Stay away! They’ve bait and switch you. They’re not even their own product. We have a business that uses a cold plunge. It broke in two months. It’s taken over a month to just get one part sent back, we still don’t have it. They won’t even answer our calls everything’s automated I would never use their product again. Stay away and help yourself.
We have been wait for over a month now for our broken cold plunge tube fixed. No one will call or email us back. They just care about sales and once you have your product they are done with you. Horrible customer Service
Looks like I am not the only one who has experienced this unfortunately

Two defective units, neither ever worked, no resolution
** Third Update **
As of 7/17/2026 the Harvia stove is still not functioning. The error codes are out, it turns on but nothing happens. Lit has been unhelpful with this issue. The cold plunge, after working for 6 days also stopped working again. When I requested a refund, they refused stating their "restocking fee". I am going to contact legal representation soon.
I purchased a LIT Titan Dual Heat Sauna and a LIT Method Stealth Cold Plunge on April 16, 2026 for commercial use. My experience has been poor from order to today.
Delivery: I was quoted roughly a 10-14-day delivery. After customer service repeatedly pushed the timeline back, ignored emails, and evaded giving me straight answers, even lying at one point, the equipment did not arrive until late May — causing a delay in the launch that I had promised my customers.
Installation: The professional that I had install the unit mentioned to me that the steam portion of the sauna looked like it never belonged in the sauna in the first place. Like they had bought the sauna and steam from overseas, and poorly connected the 2 together. Screws did not fit where they needed to go, instructions for the panels was wrong, and the floor creaks every time you step in it. The electrical installation instructions on the website and in the included documentation were incorrect and did not match the parts actually shipped. They were also different than what they post on their website. My licensed electrician had to make three separate trips to try to get the units running, at my added expense, and even with that it never functioned properly.
Sauna: It has never operated. It returns an E3 error on every startup despite being wired and connected correctly to commercial specification(or as correctly as we can given the faulty instructions), as confirmed by my electrician. Not once since delivery as this functioned properly.
Cold plunge: It ran for about one week, then stopped. Despite correct installation — water above the waterline, hoses at the correct levels, filter tight, O-ring seated — it now runs only 30–60 seconds with water flow above 20 ml before flow drops to 10 ml or below and the unit fails.
Support: After initial contact with a rep, the company stopped responding to my emails. I was told management would follow up on a specific day; no one did.
One thing other buyers should know: after I posted an earlier review about the delivery delays, the company asked me to take it down and offered me a discount to do so. I removed it at the time. Since then neither unit has ever functioned and the company has stopped responding, so I'm posting this fuller account.
I've since had to open formal disputes to try to resolve this. Based on my experience, I would not recommend buying high-cost equipment from this company. And I would also suggest looking at Reddit to see more of the same.
Response from LIT MethodJun 20, 2026
Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We are sincerely sorry to hear about your frustration and understand how disappointing delays and technical issues can be, especially when preparing to launch a new commercial wellness offering.
We acknowledge that your order experienced delivery delays and apologize for the inconvenience this caused.
We would also like to provide some additional context. The Titan Dual Heat Sauna and Stealth Cold Plunge are commercial-grade products used by hundreds of businesses across North America. While technical issues can occasionally arise with any equipment, our goal is always to diagnose and resolve them as quickly as possible.
Regarding the sauna, the electrical requirements are provided on our website, specification sheets, and installation documentation. The Harvia E3 error code indicates that additional troubleshooting is required to determine the root cause and does not necessarily indicate a defective heater. Similarly, our team provided troubleshooting guidance for the cold plunge and requested information to help diagnose the reported flow issue.
Our warranty process is designed to identify the cause of any reported issue and provide the appropriate remedy, whether that involves technical support, replacement parts, repair, or other warranty solutions.
We regret that your experience has not met expectations thus far and remain committed to working toward a resolution.
