Let’s be clear she is a LIFE coach
Let’s be clear she is a life coach, for which the credential is LIFE. She is not claiming to be a therapist, she is not claiming to be a psychologist, not a psychiatrist, not a doctor. She is claiming to have lived a life and gained wisdom and knowledge which she is sharing with those who choose to want her help. It is not illegal nor sinister to take what you know and have lived and provide it to people at a fee. How do you think Tony Robbins is a globally respected multimillionaire? He doesn’t have credentials beyond 12th grade high school... How do you think Oprah writes books and sells nationally syndicated magazines about spiritual and mental health? Does she have a psychology degree? Nope! Do the people who write the plethora of self help books and memoirs and sell their books at stores need to have psychology degrees and be professional therapists to share their knowledge of their own personal life experiences through that book?? If you only trust therapists or the institutionalized higher education form of learning about life, then buy the book from the author with your preferred bells and whistles. Don’t shove all the other books off the shelf just because you prefer the former. How is it punishable that Lisa gained a large following on YouTube by sharing about her life? Isn’t that what these platforms are for? To share about what you know and your life? She knows codependency and it’s NOT a crime to share healing and spiritual knowledge without some institutional stamp of approval validating her life. She is constantly recommending therapy, support, and praising professionals in the field. At the same time, she approves herself, validates her own life experience, and if you don’t like it, then please unfollow her.... Please.
