Terrible customer experience. This was my first time ordering from Lightning New York, and unfortunately, the very first item I received arrived damaged. When I called to resolve the issue, I was told I needed to send photos and then wait 24–48 hours for an answer. I found that ridiculous, especially for a damaged item that had just been delivered. When I asked why the process took so long, I was told that Lightning New York essentially acts as a middleman and that the products are drop-shipped, so they have to contact the manufacturer before providing a resolution. That makes no sense to me. I did not purchase the product from the manufacturer—I purchased it from Lightning New York. If I am buying from a retailer, I expect that retailer to take ownership of the customer experience and handle problems promptly rather than making me wait while they go back and forth with their supplier. For a company selling premium lighting, I expected a much higher level of customer service. Based on my experience, I would recommend purchasing elsewhere from a retailer that actually takes responsibility for the customer experience from purchase through resolution.

Any items arriving damaged are dealt with quickly and fairly. Absolutely no complaints about this company. Buy with confidence.

Great price on replacement ceiling lights for our duplexes. Nice discount for a package of 6, plus the July 4th discount as well

Outstanding experience. Remodeled our home and bought a number of ceiling lamps/fans based on selection and price. 6 months later one of the ceiling fans developed a loud noise - - we contacted Lighting New York (including a video of the issue) and they immediately sent a replacement unit, which arrived within a couple of days. Could not be more satisfied with the customer service.
