Excellent selection knowledgeable sales people and all at the right price

We needed outdoor lighting fixtures. Our electrician recommended that we take a photo of our Jbox setup to Lighting By Gregory because, as he said, they're knowledgeable and helpful. He was right. They also have a tasteful and very nice looking selection. We found a good pair of LED outdoor fixtures and the electrician installed them.

Ordered a light fixture for a ceiling fan. Never received confirmation that my order was shipping. No updates whatsoever despite repeated emails and calls to the rep I placed the order with. Several weeks later the charge for the light appeared on my Amex, but again no update from Lighting By Gregory. After several more unreturned calls and emails I gave up. Several more weeks later the fixture arrived. Will not be returning to LBG in the future.

We came in looking to buy track lighting by WAC. The saleperson convinced us there were issues with WAC and convinced us to buy TECH (which costs twice as much). We made a partial order of TECH lighting and emphasized to the salesperson that since our ceilings are low we need to always use the shortest standoffs which get the tracks close to the ceiling. We then (same day) talked to our electrician who said he installed hundred of both companies and couldn't see a difference. The next day, I was out of town so my wife called the salesperson and asked for him to replace the tracks we bought with the equivalent ones by WAC, and then added a whole bunch of other tracks since they would not refund money. A couple of days later I came back and saw that the new tracks are the longest possible standoffs and would definitely not work. We called the store who said the salesman wasn't working and only he can help. The next day we came and the salesman said that the accounts people are not there so come Monday. Monday he wasn't in. On Tuesday he told us that since track lighting is special order and it's been almost a week he needs to charge us 20% restocking (a couple of thousand bucks). It took about a week and going to the store manager to get them to take ownership of their mistake. We had similar experience of bad customer service when we came to pick up the order, we came in half an hour before they closed and they said it would take them too long to count the order to verify everything is there. This is despite them calling us telling us to come in for pickup. Prices are really good though.
