The only reason I am giving it one star is because 0 stars is not an option. I was charged for 2 months when I only used the storage for 3 weeks time!!!!! I am a teacher in Florida and I do not have money to throw away!!!!!!

They changed ownership and we were suppose to get a 50 dollar discount for referring someone who rented a storage. So we paid the rent for it and now they are trying to say we owe the 50 plus late charges.The storage doesn't accept partial payment but they are saying that is what they received from us. Update, after saying they would take care John f T I got an email saying they are going to put a lien on unit.

I made an appointment over the phone was told the rate and online said 50% off for 2 months. Then he asked my age and said I qualified for another 10% off senior discount. Went to the place in Oceanside for the appointment. He refused to honor the 50% off for 2 months AND said there is no senior discount. He said it was the discretion of the manager. I WALKED OUT!!! WAY to expensive for that part of Oceanside.

We called, only to find out the rates for a trailer parking space. The woman insisted on making us a 'reservation'. I explained that we didn't even own a trailer yet, we only wanted rates. She was very pushy and signed us up. I got tired of arguing with her. She said it would simply expire if we didn't use it. For two weeks, it reminded us of our 'move in day'. Emails came in regularly. I tried to write back and get off the list. No response. Then we were emailed that we had 'missed our move in date'. And now we are supposed to review it. Here's my review.... quote me the damn rate. Do not insist on signing me up for a space I don't want. If your employee only gets paid based on spaces reserved, then stop that. Even if we buy a trailer later, we sure as heck won't go with Lighthouse Storage, or anyone in that system. Good customer service means giving me the price, and accepting that I was asking before I needed it. A good price and no hassle would have been better than being sucked into a system that I couldn't opt out of. There, maybe they will take me off the list now.

The manager was extremely rude. Also, stop sending me emails. I never rented a storage unit.

Why am I receiving this email? I don't have an account and should not have been charged for anything.

I called them to check out a unit and pricing, and they said they would be open. My husband and I arrived at the storage facility which was closed for lunch and won’t be open for 3 hours, and we looked at other storage units for cheaper and never came back to them. I just received an email from them stating, thanks for purchasing a unit, so I checked all my accounts thinking did I and I haven’t but it caused concern, especially when my husband and I were never able to even take a look at the facility or talk to anyone of the staff. I will be calling tomorrow to figure out what’s going on but I have not had a good experience.

Unfortunately, there isn’t an option for zero stars. This place lied about the spot available, and left us stranded in our rv at 5:30 at night. The manager agreed that there was no way that the space was able to accommodate the size that was promised, but then couldn’t even refund my money! Do not use this place!!
