Unhappy customers
We have 2 stair chair lifts. Life Mobility/Gamburd have serviced them every year since they installed them in 2016. In the past years the cost was $300. This year the cost was $420. I thought that was a very large jump for 30 - 45 minutes work and a little grease! They called an hour before the appointment was suppose to happen, to tell me they needed to move the appointment to a much later time that day. I said no, so they kept their original appointment. The man who came was very nice and professional. He was very helpful and really knew what he was doing. However, he used a product on the chairs that had a very strong odor. The odor set off my families allergies. It took 3 days for the odor to dissipate from the entire house, in spite of our best efforts. We have used Gamburd/LM, since we installed the chairs in 2016. However after this year, I think I will be looking elsewhere for service the next time we need it.

Thanks for taking the time to share your feedback. Our service fee rate allows us to provide high-quality and reliable service from experienced and factory trained technicians. We understand your concerns, but have had to increase the rate to cover rising costs. Sorry for the inconvenience with the appointment you had scheduled. As you mentioned though, we still made it out at the original appointment time because the later time was not going to work for you. The grease that we use on the rails is the same one that we've always used. We apologize for the issues it caused because of the odor. We've not gotten that feedback in the past, so we'll pass it along to the team. Please contact us directly if you have any additional questions and concerns.
