Small breeder
My wife and I are a small breeder in Minnesota. We really love the quality of dog food that Life’s Abundance offers. We care about the health and nutrition of our dogs and we feel the Life’s Abundance cares about the health of our dogs as well. We noticed a huge difference in mother health and puppy health when we switched to the Life’s Abundance line of dog food. It is hard to justify to customers the benefits of continuing the puppies that we sell on the Life’s abundance line of dog food. People look at the price per pound and they may buy a small bag or two and they usually end up going to a big box store for their dog food. It is hard to sway prospects to buy the dog food because so many people can’t get over the price. We have had customers tell us that when they opened the shipping box that the bagged dog food came in and the plastic dog food bag had been cut. This very same scenario has happened to us on multiple occasions. The bags had cuts in them that look like it was made by a utility knife. When we open our dog food boxes I usually rip them open by hand and don’t even use a knife so I know for a fact that the bags were not cut by me. This also leads me to can be concerned about the quality of the food if the bag is ripped open and exposed to air. When this has happened to us the dog food is half out of the bag and leaking out the shopping box.

Thank you for your feedback! We realize that when you compare a bag of Life’s Abundance pet food to other foods, it may seem like ours are more expensive to feed. However, the most accurate way to compare the price of one pet food versus another is the cost to feed a meal. For example, the suggested amount to feed a 30 lb. dog Life’s Abundance All Life Stage kibble is 1 ½ cups whereas a competing food may be 2 ¼ cups. So, if both foods cost 65 cents a cup, the Life’s Abundance would cost 96 cents to feed and the competing food would cost $1.46 to feed. Because our Life’s Abundance dry pet foods are so nutrient dense, the suggested feeding is generally less than many other brands so it ends up costing less to feed than other brands. In reference to our shipping boxes, we are so sorry to hear that it has not been up to par. It is definitely frustrating when your product arrives damaged. We can assure you that your package did not leave our warehouse in such condition.
