Thank you for your feedback. Your disappointment in not being able to get our canned foods is completely understandable. We’re disappointed too. We sent an email to you on September 30th to inform you that the canned food will be going off sale but we understand that with the abundance of spam emails, that sometimes others can get lost in the mix. We look forward to offering our canned recipes again in the future and we’re making progress in this direction. Like all of our foods, our canned recipes are our own unique formulations that cannot be found elsewhere. It pains us that we’re unable to offer this item to you for a period of time, but we’re not taking any shortcuts in this process and are committed to ensuring that the products we offer, and every step leading to their production, meet or exceed our standards for safety and quality. Thank you for your review! Just like us, our furry friends love new foods for a different aroma and taste. Over time, they start to find their usual food a little less exciting. This is normal as some dogs only eat when they're actually hungry. Sometimes they can go 3-4 days without eating. As long as they are still acting normally, remove any uneaten food and save it for the next meal time. As far as the pricing, we realize that when you compare a bag of Life’s Abundance pet food to other foods, it may seem like ours are more expensive to feed. However, in general, that’s not the case at all. That’s because the most accurate way to compare the price of one pet food versus another is the cost to feed a meal. For example, the suggested amount to feed a 30 lb. dog Life’s Abundance All Life Stage kibble is 1 ½ cups whereas a competing food may be 2 ¼ cups. So, if both foods cost 65 cents a cup, the Life’s Abundance would cost 96 cents to feed and the competing food would cost $1.46 to feed. Because our Life’s Abundance dry pet foods are so nutrient dense, the suggested feeding is generally less than many other brands so it ends up costing less to feed than other brands.
