I put the membership on pause anticipating would get an email reminder that it was rebilling when the pause had ended ( a common practices for subscription services). When I was rebilled I was told that I could only receive a partial refund (less $150 from what was billed) as a 1 month service charge but that even though I was charged that 1 month service charge I would not be able to access or use any services from the date of the refund. That seems shady/predatory.

We appreciate you sharing this. We're sorry to hear about the billing experience and the lack of service access after the partial refund. We'll review our paused membership notification process and refund policies to ensure clarity and fairness.

Poorly operated and no one listens
My appointment with Taryn Facella-Scheuer was terrible. She didn’t listen to me or try to help me. She just accused me of not consulting with my doctors before starting this medication. Then my refill was weeks late. When I followed up about it they said it was on its way. Then I followed up again and turns out it was never sent. I had another appointment to discuss my symptoms and was told at least you’re having that issue compared to what you could be experiencing.

We appreciate you sharing your experience. We're sorry your appointment did not meet your expectations and that the medication refill process was not handled properly. We'll review your feedback to improve our service and communication.

Looked very promising on the front end
Resolved,
Hi Kirk,
We wanted to reach out regarding your order cancellation request. The pharmacy has confirmed that you have no active orders in the pharmacy. With that being said, we have also refunded you for this order as of January 5th. Please note that a refund could take 3-5 days, depending on your bank's processing time.
If you have any questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to reach out. We are here to help!
Kind regards,
Arthur M.

===============
Looked very promising on the front end. 1/2 price GLP's. I'm in, let's see what shakes out. Answered all the questions, and was scheduled for online Tele-Med doc.
Tele-Med doc went well. Approved. Asked the doc about dosage, all good. Asked about pricing and delivery; was told that I would have to contact Customer Support as Tele-doc had no pricing/billing/delivery info.
Hung up with Tele-doc. Immediately called Customer Support/Service (whatever description they utilize). While on hold I got billed $450 on my credit card. When off hold, I asked about their fees and costs. The $150 upfront fee (1/2 {$75} off at this time) was a membership fee. Has nothing to do with the drug whatsoever. Not very clear on the front end. Then I asked about the cost, was told that $450 per month is correct for my dosage. I then told them that this was more than I was paying my current pharmacy, so just go ahead and cancel this. I then was told that it all was already in process and that they would "try" to cancel this, but there was no guarantee. I said it had only been a few minutes since the Tele-doc approved it, and again they said they would "try".
Ok, so if it fails to cancel what happens then? The shipment would be processed, and the $450 charge would stand. I then said doesn't this drug need to be refrigerated, as I will be out of the country for the next 10-days. Again, they said they would "try" to cancel it. They also said that if the drug were to sit on my porch and spoil, they would "try" to have a replacement order shipped.
It seemed like the only thing being "try'd" was clipping me for $525.
Within an hour I received an email stating that my subscription has been cxld. Great (or so I thought).
Eighteen minutes later, received another email stating that my prescription had been sent. What?
So, I called. Basically, a redo of the initial call. Lots of use of the word "try" but not much of a positive tone as to whether this will be fixed or not. They did state they were escalating it, but that was all.
They shared that RX was sent by the Tele-doc and that the emails were just out-of-sync, but that their pharmacy fulfillment folks would be processing it unless they saw the cancellation order. I asked if there was someone to call to fix this and was told that was not possible.
So, I would say if you wanted to use LifeMD; proceed with caution. Their Customer Support/Service folks were very professional and polite; but seemed to be hamstrung by their system prohibiting them from doing anything to immediately resolve this problem.

I liked the meds, but too pricey!
I liked the meds, however, the price is extremely high considering that there are so many other options available that are significantly cheaper with the same service.

We appreciate your feedback on the medication and the pricing. We're always looking for ways to improve our service and remain competitive for our customers.

The initial consultation was via Telemedicine. Labs were local but outsourced and convenient. Getting prescription refills was on a 5 week cycle while medication was a 4 week supply. In 3 months time, I only lost 10 pounds; the expiation goal was 60 pounds. The cost of GLP-1 program was over $700, out of pocket. In short paying +700 to lose 10 pounds did not justify the cost.

We appreciate your feedback and regret that our program did not meet your expectations. We'll review your concerns about the prescription cycle, weight loss, and program cost to improve our services.

The medication itself has improved my life. LifeMD could be more effective with better practices—such as, when i have scheduled an appointment—my appointment is often abruptly cancelled without notice. This has happened to me more than once.
Response from LifeMDDec 9, 2025
We appreciate your feedback. We're happy the medication is helpful. We apologize for the appointment cancellations and any inconvenience this has caused. We'll review our scheduling practices.
