I ordered a GLP-1 with Life MD the beginning of January 2026. If anyone wants to start a GLP-1 do your research and look at reviews. LIFEMD is one you want to AVOID! They just want your money. What was described by the zoom conversations with a so called physician was not what happen. The follow through of 3-5 business days is BS! Now I'm trying to recoup money that was withdrawn from my bank. The cancelation process is terrible too. It's hard to get your mobile back for medication that was never delivered. I may have to seek legal help.

One of the Worst Telehealth Experiences I’ve Ever Had
I had an extremely disappointing experience with LifeMD, primarily due to the quality and professionalism of their providers.
The first provider I saw (a woman) NP, had absolutely no bedside manner. She was rude, short, dismissive, and seemed eager to get me off the call as quickly as possible. She provided no meaningful medical guidance, no discussion of options, and no compassion. The interaction felt so unprofessional that I genuinely questioned why she chose to work in healthcare at all. If the job is for easy money, that does not excuse failing to provide appropriate medical care. I complained afterward and specifically requested not to be scheduled with her again, assuming it was a one-off issue.
Unfortunately, the second provider was not much better. From the start, this man Dr spoke over me and did not acknowledge what I was saying. I repeatedly asked if he could hear me and even stood directly next to my router to rule out connection issues, but he continued talking over me regardless. Whether it was a technical issue or not, he made no effort to pause, clarify, or ensure proper communication.
While he didn’t rush me off the call, his demeanor was cold, detached, and condescending. When I tried to discuss medication side effects, he repeatedly implied I was being difficult or wasting time, saying things like, “Well, you’ve got to make a decision,” instead of providing guidance. When I asked about Wegovy pill dosage, he cut me off mid-sentence and said, “Now don’t go worrying before you do—we’ll just take it 30 days at a time,” in a patronizing tone. When I clarified that I wasn’t worrying but seeking information, he simply said, “We just don’t know,” offering no education or reassurance.
The entire experience made me feel like I was wasting his time—despite the fact that I was missing work hours for this appointment and paying for the service. I paid $350 for a LifeMD membership and received some of the poorest medical care I’ve ever encountered.
Telehealth providers still have a responsibility to listen, educate, and treat patients with respect. LifeMD failed on all counts. I will never use this service again and would not recommend it to anyone looking for thoughtful, patient-centered medical care.

Complete waste of time
Complete waste of time.
I have an ear infection, and thought it would be easy to get a prescription. Instead, I got the notification to go into the "waiting room" for a health care provider and waited for more than an hour before giving up. I also received a text with follow up questions after completing my intake form, and got no response after answering them. I finally gave up and had a prescription from another provider within 15 minutes. I wouldn't necessarily mind waiting, but the lack of communication was ridiculous.

We appreciate you bringing this to our attention. We are sorry your experience getting a prescription took so long and that our communication was not prompt. We'll investigate how to improve our response times and the waiting room experience. Thank you for your feedback.

I strongly advise you not to use this site
I had an awful experience from the first moment. I booked an appointment at 6:30 am my time so I could get it down before work. I was early so I could check my connection, camera, etc. but the NP was late. When she showed up, she said she was having connection issues so we tried doing it over the phone. That didn't work right away so she just disconnected the meeting. I tried to contact her via the chat window, but no response. I got seven minutes of this person's time in total, but spent an hour prepping for the appointment then trying to contact her.
So I went on the website's "patient portal" which is a completely bare-bones interface with very limited customer-service features. With zero communication from my "provider" I just set a new appointment (the minimum lead time was 3-4 days, so I would have to wait). I tried their customer service phone number a few times, waiting on hold for ten minutes each time, but I got no response. At this point, I started to worry about all the personal information I had given them during the onboarding process. My ID, my insurance, my home address... what had I been thinking? Ugh.
Finally, I stopped worrying about the sunk cost (assuming I would not get my money back, which remains to be seen, and knowing how much time I'd spent on the onboarding process) and just canceled my "membership" (that should have been the first clue - a medical "membership"? What the heck is that?) and joined a medical site my wife had used and trusted (Circle Medical, fwiw). I left a note when I canceled demanding they delete my info and refund my money, but I doubt they'll do either.
Hopefully you can benefit from my experience.

I purchased meds once to try out
I purchased meds once to try out. They didn't work. Evidently I was automatically signed up for auto renewal WITHOUT MY CONSENT and was charged $204. They won't let me return/stop the shipment of the product. This should be illegal.
Response from LifeMDJan 6, 2026
We regret that the medication was ineffective and that you were charged without your consent. We'll investigate the auto-renewal and shipment issues you've described. Thanks for your feedback.

Warning
Warning. Terrible customer service and threats from representative to charge for services and products if I didn't follow through with their evaluation pricess. This is what happened: . In good faith I placed a request for products then submitted my credit card. To complete the process I waited to connect with a provider, but the provider did not connect. I tried repeatedly to connect. I even called the company and was unable to reach anyone who could help.
A few days later I recieved a call from a very rude female rep threatening to charge my credit card for over $400 of service and product I did not recieve of I refused to set up a video call with one of their health care providers. I am now having to monitor my credit card for fraudulent charges. Stay away from this company! There are better ones that treat customers better and are not as expensive too.
Response from LifeMDJan 6, 2026
We appreciate you bringing this to our attention. We're very sorry to hear about the poor experience, especially the issues connecting with a provider and the subsequent call. We take these concerns seriously. We'll investigate this situation to ensure our standards are met. Thank you for your feedback.
