I selected what was presented as a “six-month Zepbound program” priced at $447 and reasonably believed this included the medication. I was taken directly to a payment page and charged immediately. Only after payment was I informed that the charge was for a LifeMD program fee only and that medication would be billed separately. This distinction was not clearly disclosed prior to payment. I was then required to select a different medication option at additional cost. I received only a partial refund and ultimately paid $384 for one month of Wegovy. I am filing this complaint due to misleading pricing and post-payment disclosure, which closely aligns with many similar complaints against LifeMD.

I can’t get ahold of customer service at all.. Been calling for days LifeMD+ took $447 out of my FSA card didn’t get no medication no explanation I think this company is a ripoff I canceled my membership….

SCAM. No one ever answers the phone or emails. I have been calling for days!!Took 335.25 just for membership no medications. Canceled and requested refund within minutes . This company is not reputable!!

The response time and communication is poor with them.

First, you had to pay and commit to a subscription before finding out what your medication options were. Mine were not affordable, especially after the $400 subscription fee, so I emailed 10 minutes or so after signing up asking for a refund. More than week later, and I STILL haven't gotten a response, even after a second email. When I tried reaching out through the patient portal, I received a response basically doubling down on the subscription and offering me other medication options. I responded saying I wasn't interested and asking for a full refund, and I of course days later haven't gotten a response. I finally called this morning and an agent said "Okay, hold on" after hearing my issue and after placing me on hold for minutes, proceeded to hang up. I received an email saying my subscription had been canceled, but it didn't mention a refund. Thank goodness I called, because the competent agent I got that time actually apologized and saw that I had only been given a PARTIAL refund (about half) after all that! Even he said he couldn't understand why! He said he was giving me back the full $447 refund. I'm hopeful, but we'll see. Worst customer service experience ever - these people seem like grifters!

I haven't got a response

I signed up and decided to not go through with them. I have been trying to cancel my subscription since then. I stayed on the phone for over an hour each day since January 11th and they don’t pick up or call back. I was forced to call my bank with the credit card and put a stop on the bill. At this point I’m just happy if I don’t get another bill. The bank said it will handle it from here.

I saw an ad for $75 GPL. I clicked through all the good reviews, photos, praise, etc. Then it asked a few questions and my card info. I was sooo ready to get the med!!! However, the next few clicks informed me that I had to pay another $149 before I get anything at all. Red flag came up. I quickly cancelled before even looking at the site. I asked - begged- for my money back - on the site messagebot and email. I tried many times. No response whatsoever. The cancelled subscription was replaced with a $19 subscription. There is NO response from support whatsoever. Im on disability and want to lose weight for health issues. I can squeeze out $75, but not $225!! Geez.
