HORRIBLE Customer Service! Would give them zero stars if that was possible! Paid the fee and had an initial conversation with a doctor. NEVER received the medication! I made repeated attempts to contact customer service over a 3 week period, both by telephone and email. None of my outreaches were returned, despite a stated response time of 48 hours. Only when I disputed my credit card charges did they reach out to me. Plenty of other options out there - would not recommend them!

Very shady company
Very shady company and this is why. Applied for help to lower my weight. Somebody maybe a doctor not sure had a video call with me and approved my prescription. Cost $249 for 4 injections. All good. One month later get a email that my prescription is about to renew. Didn't approved it. They then took $399 out of my account. A $150 more than the first payment. No second prescription has arrived. If I go on my profile on their app it only says "ordered ". Tried to contact them by email and phone with no success. Canceled or payment via my bank. Be very careful in using this company

Pattern of Misleading Practices
Pattern of Misleading Practices, Generic Responses, and No Real Healthcare
After posting a review, LifeMD responded with the same generic, scripted message they appear to send to nearly all negative reviews: “We’ll review our communication to ensure clarity…” Based on my experience—and the many similar 1-star reviews—this response is meaningless. Nothing is reviewed, and nothing changes.
Reading through the 1-star reviews reveals a clear and consistent pattern: misleading marketing language, poor communication, surprise non-refundable charges, and unresponsive or unhelpful customer service. My experience matched this pattern exactly.
The platform appears designed to funnel people seeking legitimate medical guidance into services they do not fully understand or need, with billing triggered before informed consent is clearly established. Once charged, communication shifts from patient care to defending billing decisions.
There are many other telehealth companies offering the same medications at better prices with transparent terms and actual patient-focused communication. In my opinion, LifeMD does not function as a healthcare provider—it operates as a billing platform first.
I strongly recommend staying far away and choosing a provider that offers clear disclosures, responsive support, and genuine medical care.

WARNING STAY AWAY FROM LIFE MD
Consumer Warning: Misleading Marketing of “Physician Consult” and Health Plan Enrollment
Prospective customers should proceed with caution. The physician consult offered by this company is marketed as a preliminary, informational step to help determine whether medication is appropriate—not as enrollment in a paid health plan.
The website describes the consult using language such as:
“See a provider to discuss which option is best for me.”
“Meet virtually with a LifeMD-affiliated provider to review medications, dosing, and next steps.”
“Get expert guidance before choosing a treatment.”
This framing strongly implies that the consult is preparatory and decision-supportive, meant to occur before committing to treatment or a subscription.
However, after completing the consult, I was billed for a full month of a non-refundable “health plan membership,” despite never being clearly informed that the consult itself would be treated as the first month of paid enrollment. At no point during signup was it clearly or conspicuously disclosed that declining to proceed after the consult would still result in a non-refundable monthly charge.
The company later attempted to justify the charge by referencing a “lab order,” despite no lab visit, instructions, or utilization ever occurring.
Consumers should be aware that:
The consult may be treated as a completed, non-refundable subscription period
This material fact is not clearly disclosed during enrollment
Billing may occur even if you choose not to proceed with treatment
I believe this practice creates a misleading impression at signup and does not align with reasonable consumer expectations based on the company’s own marketing language. I strongly recommend that prospective customers carefully document the signup process and seek written clarification regarding refunds and subscription enrollment before proceeding.

One time charge-NOPE
I initially called to make an appointment with a doctor. They said it was a one time fee. They charged me in November which I approved but continued to charge me in December and January. They told me I needed to cancel it. I was unable to go on the medication because of one medical issue- diverticulosis. It can cause bowel obstruction, damage to the kidneys and liver as well as 3 types of cancer.
I should have never been charged the following months. I wasn’t aware I even needed to cancel. One time fee means one time! I am still fighting the charges. Very mad and frustrated!

We regret to hear about the billing issues and your medical concerns. We appreciate you bringing this to our attention. We'll investigate the recurring charges and clarify the cancellation policy. Your feedback is valuable as we improve our services.

8 Days for a response to a messages…
8 Days for a response to a messages sent on their app/site. Multiple calls to their absolutely worthless 800# with ZERO callbacks, 10 days and counting on that one.
