I am trying to be patient with them however like everyone has said the shipping process is extremley long. I ordered it 16 days ago and have not been updated since. The initial appointment is easy however it typically is a week from when you sign up. I am hoping that my meds ship soon because I paid for the six months already and I'm hoping it all works out.

I think they just don’t update the status on app
I think they just don’t update their status on their app, but medications do ship even when they say they don’t, so just be patient it will come, however communication is not always timely! Honest review

receieved medication after a delay
UPDATE: I just received my medication in the mail today and I am excited about starting. Upped my rating from 1 star to 3 stars because of the customer service I received the other day.
It’s been about 13-14 days since my semaglutide has been ordered but I haven’t received a shipping notification yet. I’m pretty disappointed as I was looking forward to starting my journey with this company.

Late Product, Poor Customer Service, and $$ higher than anticipated
June 1: Overall, customer service is very poor. It’s been over 14 days since my initial consultation and the medication has not shipped, yet I have been charged. I have left 4 messages in total in an attempt to reschedule delivery if they cannot meet their timeline. So far no response to ANY messages left on portal, via email and calling into customer service has long wait times with no call back so far.
June 5 Update: two call returns from LifeMD customer service with mixed responses however I have received product and hope renewing prescription goes smoothly.

This is not the level of service we aim to provide, and we understand how frustrating this situation must be for you. Customer satisfaction is of the utmost importance to us, and we would be more than happy to review your account to identify the issue you have encountered so we can remedy the situation. If you would we would appreciate it if you could supply us with your contact information safely through Trustpilot so we can locate your account with us. We have sent you a request via Trustpilot.

Can’t get medication
I can’t seem to get the medication in this areas. The pharmacies say they are not going to have this medication. And tell me to find another pharmacy. I don’t know what to do.
Response from LifeMDMay 31, 2024
We are sorry to hear about the difficulties you're experiencing in obtaining your medication. It sounds like you're facing challenges with pharmacy availability in your area. We are here to assist you and help you explore a couple of options:
If you're prescribed a compounded GLP-1 medication, we work with specialized compounding pharmacies that ship directly to patients. This could be a convenient option for you, ensuring you receive your medication without the need to find a local pharmacy that stocks it. For brand-name medications, if you're encountering issues with local pharmacy stock, we can assist with identifying alternative pharmacies that may have your medication available. Please feel free to reach out to us via your Patient Portal or by giving us a call at 800-852-1575; our goal is to ensure you have uninterrupted access to your medication, and we're here to support you through this process.

Updated- I finally received my meds!! I spoke a representative yesterday and meds arrived today. I probably will go elsewhere after my subscription is over.
First of all your membership fee starts the day you sign up. Then I waited 2 weeks for my initial consultation with the dr. Now my meds that I paid for over 2 weeks ago still haven’t shipped. I’m just hoping I get the meds!! I will not be recommending them..
4 days after providing them with my contact info and still nothing!

The providers are ok
The providers are ok. Making an appointment is easy and they’re usually on time and quick. The issue is getting the “compounded” Semaglutide in a reasonable amount of time. I was told that my first vial would have way more than enough to cover any gaps. It didn’t at all. It doesn’t feel right paying for a monthly subscription on top of a prescription that takes two weeks or more to receive. The helpdesk always has a different answers as to when or why the medication ships. They have my money though and thats clearly all that matters to them.
Response from LifeMDMay 16, 2024

We understand how important it is for your treatment plan to have consistent access to your medication without any gaps. With that being said, we will be looking into your account so we can have your order shipped to you as soon as possible so we can rectify this situation. We aim to ensure that our patients are well-informed about timelines so that any potential gaps in treatment are minimized. We're taking your feedback seriously and continuously improving our processes to better serve our patients, including how we communicate shipping timelines and manage prescriptions. Your satisfaction and health outcomes are our top priorities, and we regret any inconvenience or concern this situation has caused you.

Rushed Appointment & Pricing Misinformation
Before committing to LifeMD I did a lot of research and called the customer service line twice to ensure I understood exactly what I would be getting myself into. My original understanding was affirmed after two customer service phone calls. The promotional $387 covered 6 months of medicine, video calls, coaching, lab work, and online support. I decided to commit and paid the $387 hoping I would finally have the opportunity to address my ongoing health issues.
During my scheduled intake video call I met with a doctor who I am sure is more than qualified. However, the entire call was rushed. We were interrupted with a technical issue which also cut into our time. Prior to the video call I ensure I had full service. It seemed to be a technical issue with LifeMD. I understand technical issues happen, but when the appointment structure does not create margin for error the appointment only continues to condense.
Within 20 minutes, the doctor rushed through the entire script they had which allowed only 30 seconds for any follow up questions. I did not have the opportunity to ask questions, and the doctor informed me they had to leave to see the next patient.
I do not necessarily fault the doctor I met for this rushed experience. I am sure it is a LifeMD practice which leads me to the only reason I write this review. I urge you, LifeMD, to consider changing the business structure and allowing your doctors to meet with patients longer than 20 minutes. Your patients are more than a number in a line. We are more than financial gain. Start to see your patients as human beings with complex health issues and questions that needed to be asked to ensure we make the right decision. If the script you require your doctors to read lasts 20 minutes, allow at minimum 10 minutes for your patients questions/comments.
Ultimately, I decided to receive a refund because of both the service I experienced with the doctor and the misinformation given about pricing prior to my appointment.
I called the customer support line to request a refund and the rep I spoke with was incredibly helpful to which I’m grateful.
Response from LifeMDApr 29, 2024
We aim to provide all our patients with comprehensive care and ample time to address their health concerns thoroughly. We are sorry that the appointment felt rushed and that technical issues cut into your limited time with the provider; however, we appreciate your feedback on the appointment structure and the need for more time for patient questions and discussions. Your comments are invaluable as we continually seek to improve our services and the patient experience. We will take your suggestions into consideration as we evaluate our processes and training for our medical professionals.
I understand you've already spoken with our customer support team and requested a refund. We are sorry to see you go, but are glad to hear that our representative was able to assist you effectively. If there's anything more we can do to support you, or if you have any further questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to reach out. Your health and satisfaction are our top priorities, and we're committed to making things right.
