Liberty First Credit Union is a member-owned, not-for-profit financial cooperative. Those who do business with us are known as members. We exist solely to provide our members with affordable financial services; and members work together to achieve their financial goals.We were originally chartered as the Burlington Employees Cooperative Credit Association in 1935 and served the employees of the Chicago, Burlington & Quincy Railroad. Over the years, our field of membership has grown to include family members, retirees, select groups of occupation and association, those living or working in Lancaster or Seward County, Nebraska and those related to a member or someone within our field of membership. A real bank that cares
Other banks didn't want to give us a fair rate on our loan and then our camper dealership said to try Liberty First Credit Union. It was a great experience from the minute we walked in.

Easy Car Loan Refinance
I transferred my car loan to Liberty First. I was able to pay off part of the loan in the process, so now I have a lower monthly payment. Customer service was great and I now have a checking and savings accounts that will earn interest, as well as a low interest credit card, thanks to the banker's recommendations.

Hometown feel, caring and understanding!
Nellie in the loan department helped us on Saturday, September 17, she was not only curtiious, she actually cares about her clients. I would recommend this credit union to everyone!!

Jessica Daniel is amazing!
Jessica Daniel was amazing throughout the entire loan process. We have worked with Jessica in the past, and have always had perfect service. She is attentive, responsive to communications, and genuinely cares for her clients. We are lucky to have such an amazing loan professional to work with, and Liberty is lucky to have her on the team!
