Two-month wait and ultimately not comfortable for me
The chair took about two months to arrive after I placed my order. Customer support was responsive whenever I contacted them, which I appreciated, but the shipping estimate kept getting pushed back. I was also promised a free gift package because of the extended delay, which I never received.
Once the chair finally arrived, I unfortunately did not find it particularly comfortable for me. I contacted LiberNovo about changing to a different seat size/configuration that I thought might fit me better, but that wasn't an option and return did not seem like an option either. They apologized for the misunderstanding.
Fortunately, my wife needed a new office chair and likes the LiberNovo, so we decided to keep it for her while I continue my search for a chair that works better for me.
Overall, the responsive customer service was a positive, but the two-month fulfillment time, missing promised gift, lack of flexibility after delivery, and the chair not being comfortable for me made the experience disappointing.

We’re sorry the experience didn’t meet your expectations. Your chair was a pre-order, and the estimated shipping timeframe was listed on our website. We apologize if this wasn’t communicated clearly enough.
Your gift has now been shipped, and the tracking information has been shared with you. We sincerely apologize for the delay and the frustration it caused.
Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We’ll continue working to improve our delivery and overall customer experience.

I am writing this to warn others about their return process
I am writing this to warn others about LiberNovo's return process. I initiated a return for my order (Omni Pro Chair, StepSync Mat, and Chair Wheels) and shipped everything back together in a single box (you pay for half the return shipping cost) in mid-July. Tracking confirmed delivery to their warehouse by July 30th.
Despite their policy stating refunds take a few business days, I was subjected to a month and a half of constant excuses and delays, repeatedly being told they were "checking with the warehouse".
Finally, in mid-September, customer support claimed that the warehouse only received the chair and that the mat and wheels were missing. Because I packing the box myself and did not take photos beforehand, they refused to honor the full return and only refunded the chair.
If you must return anything to LiberNovo, expect severe delays and ensure you document, photograph, and itemize every single item before shipping. Otherwise, undocumented items may completely disappear once they reach their warehouse staff, and you will be left empty-handed.
Update: After posting this review and on Reddit, they reached out and fully refunded me.

Confusing and misleading price policy
Advertised €899 price disappeared on the advertised final day
I wanted to order the LiberMove Maxis Manual during their Early Bird promotion for €899.
The offer was advertised as ending on July 31. When I tried to purchase the chair on July 31, the price had already increased to €1,141. Google Shopping was still showing the chair for €899 at the time.
I contacted LiberNovo immediately on July 31 at 18:43 and asked them to honor the advertised price.
Their response was that the €899 Early Bird price “ended on July 31” and that they could not apply it anymore. I pointed out that I was trying to purchase on July 31, not after July 31, and asked them to honor the €899 price.
They refused and instead offered their regular 5% new-customer discount.
Very disappointing customer experience. If a promotion is advertised as ending on a particular date, the actual cutoff should be communicated clearly to customers.
I was ready to buy the chair for €899 and still am. I hope LiberNovo will reconsider and honor the price I tried to purchase it for on the advertised final day.

Hit or Miss Your Results may var a lot
Hit or Miss Your Results may var a lot
Ordered chair via kickstarter. Recieved chair in timely fashion. Recieved a bunch of "goodies" as time progressed (blanket, extra battery etc).
However my issue is mostly with the chair and replacement program. The seat bottoms out, the armrests are easily broken (they are support to have 3 adjust able settings, but apparently mine broke when adjust one of them). And the Cylinder slowly drops me to the bottom after a day of use.
The replacement program is a joke (Customer Service). They want videos of my ass bottoming out on a chair and everything else. So NO REPLACEMENTS ARE NOT FREE. They want YOUR TIME to do WORK so they can "get feedback". That isn't free that's MY TIME wasted on a broken product. I get they want feedback, they don't need a video of my ass on a seat to figure out how to fix a that problem.

Amazing back and neck support
Amazing back and neck support, but the seat is a dealbreaker. Too thin, too short, and absolutely not suitable for anyone over 180 cm. Since you can’t upgrade it to a Maxis seat, it feels like money wasted. I had no idea the seat size would make such a huge difference.

I wouldn't trust LiberNovo if I were you.
TL;DR:
+ They promised a VAT refund in writing to get the sale, then refused and blamed their AI.
+ Claimed my order was "dispatched" when their own carrier had no parcel.
+ Broke every promise but one.
+ Refunded in full only after four weeks of documented pressure.
These chairs are worth it if you can trust the warranty & support. That tells you everything about the product and company. And I wouldn't trust them after dealing with them for a month.
Fully refunded before writing this. Everything below is documented in emails and tracking records.
If you want the full documentation just let me know.
So here goes:
LiberNovo ran a launch for their new chairs. I paid €10 for early access and priority, and bought the chair.
Aaaand then it started.
01. My company was buying the chair.
In the EU, a company buying from another country usually pays NO VAT but the website had no way to do this. So I asked support. They told me in writing: buy with VAT, email them, and they'd refund the VAT and send a no-VAT invoice.
So I did.
Paid €589, sent my order number, just like they asked.
The invoice came back wrong. Still the full price with VAT (they just deleted the VAT line from the paper).
Then they said they could not refund me.
Their reason?
Their AI gave the wrong answer. (Like their AI is not their responsibility somehow.)
Automated answer or not, they gave it in writing and I bought because of it.
Side note: issuing a no-VAT invoice between EU businesses is normal and easy.
02. Their site promises replies in 24 hours. I regularly waited 48+.
Nine days after payment: email that the chair is out of stock, shipping mid-July.
Thought I had priority...
That's what the €10 was for, right?
Wrong.
Based on these two "missed promises" I lost all trust and I cancelled the order.
Little did I know that it was just starting.
Their own policy allows order cancellations before shipping.
Their reply: "already dispatched, in transit."
It wasn't.
Tracking showed only a label created.
Called DPD and they confirmed no parcel in their network.
It actually shipped 3 days AFTER their "dispatched" claim.
Once it genuinely shipped, their refund method they offered: wait for the delivery, refuse the parcel at the door, then track the return myself and tell them when it reached their warehouse.
Shouldn't they track their own return?...
Aaanyway, did all of it. (wasted a ton time)
Credit where due: from there they confirmed a full refund in writing, no return fees, and the full €589 + €10 landed in my account. (Four weeks after this started.)
I have a company, coworkers, employees. I wanted to test this chair and order for the whole office.
Instead I watched them break every promise but one (the VAT, the priority, the reply time, the "dispatched" claim) and dodge responsibility at each step until pressure and paperwork forced the refund.
I never sat in the chair, so I can't judge it.
And I do not want to because chairs at this price point are worth it because of the warranty and the service behind them.
This experience is exactly what a warranty claim in year 3 would look like. ZERO trust.
And If you can't trust them, the warranty is worthless.
And if the warranty is worthless then there are a ton of other chairs at lower price points that would do the job that have no warranty or customer service.
My advice (and what I did) If you're shopping in this range: buy a refurbished Herman Miller from a reputable refurbisher.
Five-year warranty, real service, 20+ year track record.
