Scammed me out of products they stated would be shipped with my order, only to gaslight me and refuse to ship said items.

Ich hatte mir den Stuhl gekauft, weil ich nur gutes gelesen und gehört habe. Ich warte jetzt schon 1 Monate darauf, dass der Status meiner Bestellung sich in „geliefert“ ändert. Die Bestellung wird einfach nicht bearbeitet. Auf der Webseite steht, dass die Lieferzeit 1 Woche ist, ist einfach falsch. Hab schon gefühlt 5 mal den Support angeschrieben und hier wird man auch nur vertröstet, dass es angeblich Anfang August geliefert wird. Die Frist ist mittlerweile auch gerissen. Viel Marketing und wenig Leistung, schade! Wenn man vom Support keinen genauen Liefertermin bekommt und es sich nichts passiert, dann wird die Bestellung zurückgezogen und ein Stuhl bei Herman Miller bestellt, weil die ihre Prozesse wenigstens im Griff haben. Und nach der neusten Preisgestaltung ist da auch kein großer Unterschied mehr. Also ich hoffe, dass meine Bestellung wirklich mal ankommt und nicht immer nur vertröstet wird und mir gesagt wird, dass man meinen Frust versteht, aber keine Erklärung bekommt warum es so ist. Immerhin sieht das Produkt auf dem Papier vielversprechend aus.

awful! Ordered on 23 July 2026 (order #8869). Sixteen days later there is still no shipment. The frustrating part isn't the delay itself — it's the support. The website said the order would ship at the end of July. When nothing shipped, the support team told me early August. Now it's "mid-August." Every time I ask for one thing — a specific calendar ship date — I get status updates instead: "prioritized," "in the queue," "actively processed." Never an actual date. The marketing is polished, but the post-purchase experience does not match it. Replies read like canned, seemingly auto-generated messages rather than someone actually answering the question. Very disappointing.

I saw a review of their Maxis chair on YouTube and as a big individual I was intrigued. I decided to visit their website and see that there is a BIG discount on all of their chairs, even the Maxis chairs that are completely new as far as I’m aware. That was the first warning sign but when I saw they offered payment with klarna I felt safe enough to place an order. When I ordered the chair they gave no indication that it was a pre order item, it just said “expected delivery time 5-8 business days” and when I placed the order I got a confirmation email saying “we are getting your order ready for shipping” or something along those lines. The Klarna payment plan was immediately activated and should usually only activate once the seller has shipped the product so naturally I thought they had shipped it or atleast were getting it ready for shipment. Two weeks go by and not a word, so I contact them. They say it’s been delayed and I should expect shipment mid August. Cool, whatever I don’t care if I get it later I just want a chair, would have been nice to have been told about it but I left it there. Couple of days ago I received a reminder from Klarna that I must pay the invoice from Libernovo August 7, for something that hasn’t even been shipped yet… I’m not comfortable with paying that amount of money in advance so I contact Klarna and explain that the order has been delayed and they understood that and paused the invoice until I had my chair. A day or so goes by and I receive an email from Libernovo asking me to cancel the Klarna Dispute so they could continue with my order!? So I should pay in advance for a promise of a chair? I’m Swedish and here we pay for our services and products once the job is done/we have received the product, not the other way around. We are actually protected by Swedish consumer law so we are not obligated to pay for something we have not yet received. I ended up canceling my order, because I think part of buying a premium product should also include a premium buying experience and customer service, It felt premium up until I placed the order, everything after felt like I’ve been scammed. I would avoid buying directly from this company and instead buy from a third party seller that actually has these chairs in stock. The only positive thing I can say is that customer support was very professional and listened to my concerns and offered compensation in form of extra accessories, and they were also fast to reply. I still ended up canceling so I can’t say anything about the chair sadly. I hope this helps them become more transparent in the future and hopefully get control of their stock so they can ship their chairs in time.

For a chair costing anywhere between €650 and €1,000, you expect premium customer support. With LiberNovo, that support is virtually non-existent. Save yourself the headache and don't waste your time or money. ​I ordered an Omni Pro chair a month ago, with an explicit promise that it would ship by the end of July. After having to send four emails, I was given vague and contradictory estimates: July 31st, early August, mid-August, or maybe late August. It is obvious they have no control over their inventory and that stock is simply stuck on a cargo ship somewhere. ​What makes this even worse for a company selling "high-end" chairs is that stock is readily available on third-party platforms like Joybuy for the same price. On top of that, paid YouTubers and influencers get VIP treatment and priority delivery, while paying direct customers are pushed to the back of the line. ​While it might not be an outright scam, their business practices are terrible and they lack any sense of transparency. They continuously give misleading information in their emails. ​If you want a true high-end experience, buy a Herman Miller Embody. You get a proper 12-year warranty, reliable support, accurate shipping dates, and a brand that actually cares about its reputation. ​Bottom line for anyone expecting an end-of-July delivery: It’s not happening. They simply don't have stock.

They continually advertise on social media and have influencers talk up their products. All while having no stock available. They do not display stock levels on their website and continue to take orders even though they are out of stock for the next 2 months. I only found this out after ordering and paying for the chair waiting 2.5 weeks with no information. After emailing them, they told me I might get one at the end of August. Having a localised website in German while not displaying stock levels is a completely unacceptable business practice.
