This company is horrible! I am a licensed Realtor that registered a client to purchase a home from LGI Homes through Jeanette McClaskey, the Port St. Lucie LGI sales rep. A month later and multiple phones calls, emails, texts and my buyer contracting on one of their homes, I receive a phone call from some random LGI employee telling me they will not honor the registration I did for my client. They claim that my client clicked on one of their ads on Instagram and I cannot be registered as the buyers agent nor will they pay a commission to me. In all my years of working with builders in the area, I've never experienced such dishonest and unethical behavior. I will never recommend this company to anyone. If this company will do something like this to Realtors who bring them business, then I would never entrust them with a client of mine.

They are shady and not trust worthy. I just bought a house in Fort Worth, and the entire process was so shady. The house has so many issues and they don't pick up calls to come fix it. There's nails sticking out from the carpet everywhere that's poking us and making us bleed. The paint job inside the house is horrible. Lots of things are missing, but they avoid picking up calls and don't reply to text to come fix it.

We moved in our home in Fort Myers in November. There are so many things wrong such as the aluminum siding has been pieced together the landscaping looks like a child did the work. Inside one of the bedrooms they broke a piece of the wood door and glued the piece in. Very cheap doors and windows. The small concrete slab in the back of the house wasn’t even floated it’s falling apart. Items found prior to settlement we found are still not fixed. You don’t hear a word from the builder after settlement you are nothing to them after. Stay away from this builder.

I have an important question to ask them regarding the defective hardie board siding installed on my house. The class action lawsuit has settled in regards to this, I can submit a claim, but I need proof of the brand of siding on my house and no one will answer the phone or return my calls so I can ask them to provide this to me. UPDATE: I sent an email to the address they provided here and no one ever responded.

There has been leaking in the basement since the first time it rained. We have had multiple people come and look at the issue but they have not fixed it and have brushed off concerns. Seems that if it's a big fix, they want nothing to do with it. There is no customer service line to call to reach someone and they do not respond in a timely manner when you file a service claim. I would strongly advise against working with LGI Homes as their warranty seems good, but they do not have employees willing to fix a true workmanship error.

Experience with their warranty has been nothing but disappointing: have had a leaking problem that they have sent people out to look at and not listen to what we're saying, not fix the problem, and if they do send someone out, it's at a much later date than what they say they will be out.

We will investigate further to determine what happened and provide additional training if needed. We appreciate you sharing your experience with us so we can continue to improve. I did not know of a way to respond I did not see a response button so I copy and paste LGI response and here is my response to it. It is not possible that it sold in that time frame and if it did or went under contact. He could had picked up the phone or email me or my realtor. He reported it was available on Tuesday we scheduled for me to see it on Thursday.

We have been living in Bauer Landing for 4 years now. When we first moved in, the cabinets starting falling apart . The tiles started cracking in the dining room and kitchen. Water was leaking out of the hallway light fixture. Now there is mold in that area. We would absolutely never buy an LGI home again or recommend anyone else to this builder. We regret buying this home.
