I signed up for Lettuce after doing research on alternative services that offer LLC/Scorp filing for solopreneurs. Every interaction I’ve had with the company has built my confidence and trust that Lettuce is “best in class.” I’ve sent several emails with specific questions on my situation and attended a webinar, Lettuce’s follow up is prompt, thorough, and on-point for my issues. This kind of support is what I’m craving as a solopreneur. My latest interaction with Lettuce was a call with Davis, a customer support professional. I explained that my work situation had changed recently and there was a strong possibility that I would transition from 1099 to W-2 for the next CY. Davis provided great advice and helped me understand my options. He said that the LLC that was already formed in my name was valid and I could utilize it moving forward for other consulting work, and that the change to W2 likely meant Lettuce would not benefit me at present. Davis demonstrated utmost professionalism and courtesy, and made recommendations that would be best for me. Davis reminded me of how Kris Kringle, the protagonist in The Miracle on 34th Street, works at Macy’s but sends customers to other department stores when Macy doesn’t have exactly what they need. Lettuce is putting me first and that is rare today. I’m impressed and I look forward to working with Lettuce in the future.

I won't be using their services! I asked for a personal demo, instead was sent a link for live public demos. That is not what I asked for. I will be going with a competing company that offered me; a one-on-one demo within 24 hours, for virtually the same price gives me a dedicated accounting team, allows me to keep my current bank accounts, allows me to set buy own salary, and has been around much longer. Lettuce on the other hand makes you pay extra if you want to speak to an accountant, makes you switch to their banking system, does not allow you to set you own salary, and they are a start up (who knows how long they will be around)...... they will need to up their game or lower their prices in order to win customers over the competition. They aren't offering any real value compared to the competitor.

Having one solution that automates my bookkeeping and accounting gives me a new sense of confidence and saves me so much time.
