Not for high prescriptions
I have a high prescription for glasses and I bought a few pairs of those on Lensmart and they were horrible. I could only see through the middle of the glasses as everything in the peripheral vision was blurry. I contacted them and after making me jump through hoops answering their questions, they said they'd replace them if I sent them back within 7 days of receipt of their final email. Lo and behold, the return fee was at my expense! I live in South Africa and it cost me R900 (~$45) to ship the items to their specified address in the US. I took the hit hoping the reworked pairs would be better. They were slightly better but I still couldn't see well in the periphery using those glasses. So I reached out again and they told me to ship them back at my own expense (again) for a 50% refund. Apparently to them, inability to see well through the glasses does not equate quality issues. I gave up on the whole process because the costs I'd incur if I shipped them back again would amount to what I paid for the order. And since they were only offering a 50% refund, I'd just be increasing my net loss so it was not worth it. My advise is not to buy from them if you have a high prescription. They do shoddy work and it'll end up costing you more than just getting it at your local optometrist. I've since seen a few reviews from people complaining about the same thing. Some have even been gaslighted by influencers paid by Lensmart, but what they're saying is true. I wish I had looked for and read the reviews before buying from them, including the negative ones. It would've saved me from wasting my money. @Lensmart: My order number was 764713.
