I wouldn’t even rate them one star ! The quality of the glasses was less than a child’s toy doll pretend glasses ! They put the incorrect prescription lenses in my glasses and now they either refuse to answer my requests for a return and if they do respond , it’s only to repeatedly ask the same inane pointless question that has ZERO to do with the lenses !! They refuse to provide a return or refund option information to resolve this problem and continue to delay the process by sending one message a day that is the exact same question that has already been answered and has NO bearing whatsoever on the issue !!!! Prior to paying they bombarded me with a litany of instant answers and messages and now that there is an issue they’re nowhere to be heard from !! DO NOT BUY FROM THIS BUSINESS!!!!!

If i could leave a 0 star review, I would. Customer service is a complete joke. They stated they would refund me for a package that was never delivered and then stated I'd "have to pay extra" for replacement frames that I selected, since the original ones I ordered/paid for, were no longer "in stock". I have not gotten a dollar back from them. DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE.

What a mess this Chinese company is and I will never use Lensmart again. ZENNI optical all the way!!! I placed an order with Lensmart January 27th and uploaded my RX, asking for dual vision progressives. I didn't know my PD so I left it blank. They emailed me back asking me for my PD and there was an extra charge. I said NO, and basically gave them a number of 54 and if they cant make my glasses without trying to get more money from me, cancel my order and refund me. So emails back and forth they agreed to make my glasses and not charge me extra. Glasses were allegedly mailed out in March and delivered on Apr 18. Never received them. I emailed them and they agreed to a 're-issue' and gave them another address to send them to. More emails back and forth and another pair of glasses was sent out end of May. I finally got them in my mail box in June and they are Single Vision- not the Dual vision Rx I uploaded. I am done with these clowns. My glasses are junk, I cant drive with single vision and I can only use them at home. So, RX was wrong and I won't bother asking them to redo them. Order from Zenni optical folks- cheap, and they always get my Rx correct and glasses come within 14 days. Stay away from Lensmart- complete garbage

The return process is excruciating! I requested a return on Monday, it is now Thursday and still haven't received information on how to return these glasses. They ask a different question every day and it takes a day to get back with you. Even asking for a copy of your prescription, don't they already have it? I will not buy from here again, it not should not be this hard.

AVOID AVOID AVOID! Horrible seller and extremely difficult to return anything, they said hustle free return which is BS! Taking over months now to sort out return, gasses didn’t fit well yet they made it my fault asking to pay £16 on top to make new replacement glasses plus return need to be paid to US for another £10-20 so in the end it will be very expensive glasses and not even sure the next one will fit! Avoid!

UPDATE: As per their request, I provided a video and explained the problem clearly and repeatedly in writing. Despite this, they insisted it was not a quality issue. After I posted a review, they contacted me saying a 100% refund would actually be possible, but only if I paid for the return shipping, even though the product was clearly defective. I found this extremely unethical. I have forwarded the case to consumer protection authorities and will update this review accordingly. I strongly advise others to stay away from this company. If anything goes wrong, you’re on your own. ———————————————————— I ordered a pair of prescription glasses from Lensmart, but unfortunately, the lenses were distorted and only a small area of the lens was actually clear. This caused significant dizziness and headaches, making the glasses completely unwearable. Despite explaining the issue multiple times, customer service repeatedly denied that this was a quality issue — even though the product clearly does not function as intended. They insisted on applying their non-quality return policy, offering only a 70% refund for the lenses and refusing to cover return shipping, which is completely unacceptable given the defect. What’s worse is that I previously ordered glasses with the same prescription from them (which were perfect), so it’s obvious that the problem is not with the prescription, but with the lens manufacturing or grinding. I’ve now had to escalate the case to consumer protection authorities, as Lensmart refuses to take proper responsibility. This has been a frustrating experience, and I would not recommend ordering from them — especially if you expect fair customer service when things go wrong.

This company has still failed to send me a return shipping label. It's been 4 months!

The way they behave is unqualified. They have been sending emails for a month. Since the glasses arrived broken, I asked for a full refund. They have not responded to my request yet, they are hindering the process with meaningless questions (can I see well with them, should I send the medical paper, etc.). It is impossible to communicate with them on the merits. I don't even understand how they can have a rating of 4.7, what they sell is garbage. It is generated by a lot of fake bots. The whole thing is a scam! No one should order from this site!!! What they write below is simply a lie. They offered no solution. They kept asking if I could see with my glasses on and kept demanding that I send them these medical papers. I replied that they had no right to ask for this, the papers contained sensitive data. Furthermore, my problem was not that I could not see with them, but basically that I did not like them on me. According to their website, there is a possibility to take them back without any obstacles in such cases (70% and 100%). In vain I wrote in the message exchanges to get over this. They never answered any of my questions and did not justify their request. YOU CANNOT TALK TO THEM!!! The customer service is a lying chatbot..... (I'll add that after writing this review they suddenly started responding intelligently and stopped asking for a medical certificate....It would have been easier to write this honest review a month earlier.) I don't know how a company like this can operate, how they can sell anything in an EU country. If anyone knows a way to help get them banned, please contact me!
