I recently ordered a pair of progressive glasses from Lensmart. When they arrived and I first tried them on, my vision was completely distorted and everything appeared heavily slanted. To figure out what was wrong, I took them to a local optician at Vision Essentials (Kaiser Permanente). They verified that while Lensmart had made the lenses to the correct prescription, the laboratory had installed the right lens incorrectly. It was rotated 90 degrees out of alignment, causing the progressive corridor to run vertically (putting the distance zone on the right and reading on the left) instead of horizontally (distance on top, reading on the bottom). Fortunately, the local optician was able to physically rotate and correct the lens position in the frame for me, and the glasses are perfect now. While I really like the frames and the actual lens quality, Lensmart needs to improve their quality control checks before shipping to ensure lenses aren't misaligned and unwearable upon arrival.

It just takes too long to get a pair of prescription eyeglasses. I will not place another order.

I like that when I brought my query, they replied. I hate the fact that I had to ask what was happening in my order for me to know why it hasn't arrived. They never communicate, it's clear I would still be waiting for an order thats not coming..

I love the frame and the feel. Glasses are what was advertised. My issue is the darkness. They are supposed to be transitions but they are too dark even inside the house. I thought they will change and adjust. It's been a day and I look like I'm wearing sun glasses

I purchased three sets of glasses from Lensmart which is an online platform of buying prescription and non-prescription glasses. There was a lot of to and from email communication because they needed extra information such as Pupillary Distance and clarification on the prescription paperwork I sent them. They couldn't understand I only needed standard glasses without progressive and without bifocal. While I was lucky the glasses were ok, be aware their glass cases are of substandard quality. The press button doesn't shut the case properly meaning the press button does not secure the case necessitating significant pressure to close it, which poses a risk of damaging your glasses. I also received a green case for my prescription sunglasses. That green case doesn't even close properly or even remain closed. Lensmart came back to me after I sent them videos of the cases and said the cases are "within normal limits" Whilst you may say it's the glasses that matter more than the cases, my response is you PAID for the glasses, the cases and the delivery and my expectation is that the cases need to be of good functioning quality.

I gave you a 3. Glass half full. While the experience hasn’t been wonderful, you are helping correct it. That is a positive.

Después de haber solicitado una cancelación de una orden. Hubo varios intercambios de correos y mensajes en Messenger por días para que se hiciera efectiva mi cancelación. Mi opinión es que tienen buen servicio al cliente pero falta de personal para responder y resolver el problema de cada usuario a tiempo. Después de la devolución del dinero me pidieron dejar una reseña 5 estrellas y un 30% de descuento para mi siguiente pedido, pero debo ser honesta el mal rato que pasé tras varios días de solicitud creo que por ahora no lo merecen. Quizás esto sirva para esforzarse más y en el futuro cambiar la opinión de todos esos usuarios de 1 estrella. Pero aún les falta. Muchas Gracias.

Didn’t have a 100% smooth experience with customer service. It took a lot of back-and-forth to get things done when it came to getting a refund, but their product is great quality.
