Ordered safety glasses with prescription. Was excited as I paid for express (longer than quoted but arrived in normal time frame). The box was wrapped in bubble wrap and when I opened. I found the box crushed on one side. I opened the box and to my surprise the ‘safety glasses’ were broken. Contacted lensmart the same day (4th August) with images and received no response. Send another email on the 11th August after calling the international number on their website (not in service). Jumping on here I’ve discovered all these bad reports that have happened in the last 3-4 weeks (weren’t here when I ordered). Very disappointed in the customer service. Edit after reply from lensmartonline. This is not good enough… you can reply to a negative comment on a review within 15mins of it being posted. But you can’t reply to an email sent over a week ago.

I am extremely unhappy with the glasses I received from Lensmart. I am literally unable to wear these glasses. I have had glasses for over 10 years and had them replaced several times without any problems, but these ones are unacceptable. Everything is distorted and there is no peripheral vision at all. Things directly in front of me are beautifully in focus, however they appear curved. My correspondence with customer service was also a very frustrating experience... They said "The visible area of the progressive lens is in the middle, and the two sides of the lens are invalid areas. If you can't accept it, do you need to replace the lens with a single vision lens?" I told them I have had 3 or 4 pairs of glasses before these ones, and they ALL were fantastic. I really don't thing I should have to argue about this. They are crap....

I don't normally review but hope no one else has to go through what I did. I accidentally placed an order with this company, and within seconds, tried to cancel the order. The only way I was able to go through the cancellation process was to email the company-- their posted phone number is out of service. I even tried messaging their Instagram account. After waiting days, I received an email stating "hi. you can replace the order" and I responded promptly the same day with: "Please cancel my order." Days later, I received another email: "why do you want to cancel your order ?" I promptly replied the same day: "Order created by accident. CANCEL MY ORDER." Two days later, I received another email: "We can replace your order." Beyond frustrating. I've now opened up a case with my bank to get my money back, as this company is by far the worst scam. Save yourself the trouble and money loss. I'm angry. I'll get my money back, but I don't appreciate my time, energy, and hard-earned money being wasted. These scammers should be ashamed of themselves. UPDATE: they emailed me again 24 hours later saying they would refund me if I took my negative review down. Still no refund! As far as their response to me: no. I am not providing my order number here on a public forum.

If i could give them zero stars I would. Although this company has really cool frames, their attention to detail is at a zero rating. I ordered 2 pairs of glasses, paid extra to get the progressive frames and extra coatings. When i received them, both pairs were the wrong prescription. I then contacted customer service where they told me…”i entered them incorrectly” . It was then suggested that i send them back, at my expense, to have the right prescription put in. After receiving the “corrected” pairs…..they were both different prescriptions, and they were both wrong. After being in contact with customer service for over a week now, they will only refund 50% of the cost, and….they want me to pay AGAIN to send them back. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM! Trenna Allain

Worst customer service I have ever encountered. I made a mistake with an order. They were not accommodating at all. Super unfriendly. Don't waste your time with them. I would not mind paying to fix a mistake that might have been mine, but the way they responded to my email was so rude! Also- their glasses took 2 months to ship. Literately stayed in one spot for 3 weeks after it has shipped.

Posted 80% off your 1st order by signing up with your email, which I did. I ordered two pairs. When submitting my order it said the coupon is not available. I continue with my order and when I was done I immediately emailed that company to let them know what was happening and that I would like reimbursement for the difference. Never heard a word. Three weeks later I get my glasses, beautiful beautiful frames yet the lenses were wrong and I can’t see with them So I emailed customer service and heard nothing back from them. I sent a third email and I demanded a refund!! That seemed to get their attention asssss they FINALLY answered my email to tell me that they have a two week policy for refunds and there’s nothing we can do and I need to contact customer service. I explained I’ve been trying to reach them without success and when the responded with again, contact CS to which I said this IS the CS email! Which they responded again sorry for the inconvenience there’s nothing we can do. Are you kidding me? They have false advertising, cannot be reached by telephone as the number is out of service. I repeatedly asked for management to contact me and all they would say is your past your two weeks sorry for the inconvenience there’s nothing we can do for you. Very, very poor customer service experience and it was completely over emails. I mentioned I tried calling to which the response was we don’t have a phone number you can reach us as it’s out of service. We will never do business with this company again as they don’t stand behind their products and refuse to take ownership of their mistakes. So I’m out $180. (Which is Candian fee) I’m not impressed. Scam business!!!! Replying back to your response. 1- the email you mention this issue with the 80% off. I DID in-fact email immediately after I submitted my order. I NEVER heard beck from Lensmart. 2- I have saved all the email. Replying back to you seems like the emails where all you end saying “ohhh, we don’t see that email, how ironic and quincidental they didn’t get a email. Clearly, this company doesn’t honor the customer and business, lie on emails ( mine all have been save for proof) not allowing concerns to be addressed by a management team. That would have Allowed a much better outcome

Since I cannot reply to y'all's comment, I have sent an email and everytime I do it says the email is pretty much non-existent just like the phone number. I just either want my glasses and sunglasses I paid for and fast shipping or my money back.

DONT BUY from Lensmart! I ordered two pairs with the same prescription for progressive lenses, I did NOT get my prescription or progressive lenses and both pairs have a different prescription! I cannot see with either pair and LENSMART don’t accept any responsibility! I have to report with PayPal as THEFT!!!!
