I wouldn’t recommend shopping here
Only contact is via email… not responsive. I ordered single vision glasses, they were supposed to take 5-10 bus. days. I got notice within a few days of initial order that they were done, plus a tracking #. At 10 days Tracking starts showing them as cleared customs but revolving around NY for 5 days. It left facility/it arrived back at same facility, over and over. At 17 days… Got an email from them saying that they were “reissued”, now with a new tracking # - and origin point and the notice it may take up to 26 more business days to get them!!! What is the active tracking info I’ve been looking at all this time then? Why do they need reissue unless they were never sent the first time and they know it? The new email is also very weirdly worded. “You will receive them soon. We won’t let you” — no period, nothing more, then links to “view your order” and “visit our store”. Haha = we won’t let you? After reading so many other negative reviews of people not receiving their orders for months and/or getting the wrong prescription the “We won’t let you” seems an accurate slip of the tongue. Tried to find contact info on the site - a chat function, or phone #, even a contact form? None - you must email. I wrote PayPal for a chargeback and it was issued immediately. An immediate refund tells you there is an ongoing situation with people requesting refunds from the company. Normally it’s “Give it another week to arrive” or “use our resolution center” or “provide more info”, it’s not just ok here’s your $ back. The website now has an announcement on the tracking page = “due to order backlog recent orders will be affected. We estimate that you will receive your glasses 7 business days later than the delivery time we promised on the website. Hope you understand.” But I ordered before this posted - AND YOU SAID IT ALREADY SHIPPED - weeks ago! Apparently, to backdoor the requirements of shipping on time and to appear as if they’ve been sent, companies will create false tracking. USPS generates tracking #’s and labels without seeing the items - just believing the claim they will be in the huge shipping containers arriving from China. Large amounts of actual items are not in the container, but the main contents list on the outside (with all the generated #’s) gets scanned in and USPS begins “tracking” the non existent items. In the end, once it’s physically sorted and items are determined to be “missing”, postage fees are not charged to the company - because there was no actual item to send anywhere. Use this trick often enough, your shipments get flagged and your actual items take longer and longer to get through customs.
