BUYER BEWARE! I wish I could upload screenshots of the conversation I have had with customer service! Please know that if you are thinking about ordering from this company, you will LOOSE money if they get the prescription wrong! Customer service informed me that policy states that even if the prescription is wrong, the customer has to pay to send them back and will only receive a partial refund! They had me send proof of my prescription which I did, & when they saw that it was entered correctly they offered to exchange the glasses. I was told that if I wanted to exchange them for another pair I would need to send money to a PayPal account. Definitely a scam!! Again be prepared to loose money if they mess up your prescription. I’m so glad I kept copies of the conversation for documentation purposes. I’m warning everyone to buy at your own risk! I wish I would have read reviews on the BBB website & on sitejabber.com before ordering. Apparently many customers have gotten scammed from this company! Before purchasing read the complaints and reviews on the BBB website and sitejabber.com. BUY AT YOUR OWN RISK! Update! The seller has just replied to this comment stating that I filled in my prescription incorrectly! They are liars! I have proof of our conversation where I sent my prescription to them after they requested it and they saw it was entered in correctly which is why they originally offered me an exchange which I declined because I was not about to send more money to a random PayPal account! This company is ran by scammers and liars! If you have any correspondence with customer service keep it all as proof because they will clearly lie to try to save face. I wish I could upload the messages I have. DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY!!

This company has been one of the worst online glasses companies I’ve ever dealt with. I ordered two pairs of glasses using the same prescription and PD number that I was prescribed (and haven’t had issues with). Both pairs of glasses arrived and the left lens was so off that it made me sick every time I tried them on. When I contacted them about returning them they made me jump through hoops - asking for a copy of my prescription, checking the lens multiple times, checking my PD number ( all of these questions were sent in separate emails instead of complying the list in one). All of which was fine until they requested for me to send them a picture of myself wearing the glasses. This is a major invasion of privacy and I highly recommend no one send them pictures if they request them. I let them know that I would not be sending a picture of myself and to proceed with the refund. I was then told that I would have to pay for shipping and they were only going to refund me 70% of the lens and 100% of the frames. This is absolutely comical considering both of my pairs of glasses cost me less than $30. And then to pay for shipping costs. Im in the hole either way with the company.

I would give negative 10 if possible, payed with PayPal thank goodness, run around for months. Lots of excuses, couldn’t read my prescription, still couldn’t read it…. When I went to PayPal they tried to get me to cancel that dispute in order to send my order, on and on . PayPal ruled and I got money back, so be careful with your payment

Don't waste your $$$! I purchased two pair of glasses with the same prescription and received both pair, however I can only wear one pair because the prescription is wrong. I've been in contact with the repeatedly and I was basically told that because I ordered progressive lenses I can return them for single vision. I wanted progressive and because they made them wrong I'm now stuck with a pair I can't wear or return! Terrible company and I will never do business with them again!

I wouldn’t even give them a 1 if I could. Horrible experience! Received incorrect script, had optometrist check customization and was told the reason I couldn’t see anything was because the PD was totally off. I provided lensmart with doctors Workup sheet stating the above and the response was to go back to the doctor and record them while they examined the glasses. Can you imagine ?? Unheard of and beyond ridiculous!! It’s been 3 months later and what a waste of money and time attempting to get a refund or even corrected glasses. They won’t do either. Total SCAM! Do not order from these people, there are several other companies out there! And oh, they ask you pay for shipping and send glasses to some personal residence (a 1.8M private home in CA, clearly not a warehouse) and then once they receive the glasses “you’ll be given next steps” which is also a scam as I found countless reviews online of customers having paid certified mail to ship them only to receive no response from Lensmart. SHADY! UPDATE to Lensmart reply 1/21/24- There is NO optometrist that will allow a customer to RECORD them while they examine the glasses. The dr ALEADY provided a written documentation STATING the customization was not according to the script. It is not LEGAL and a LIABILITY to provide a video of the optometrist. THEREFORE, this is once again an EXCUSE from LENSMART which further exemplifies what CROOKS and SCAM company it is.

If I could give them zero stars I would! BUYER BEWARE!!!! Sometime they get it right, but if you’re one of the ones they screw up on, you’ll be out the money you spent!! Their customer service is terrible!!! I uploaded an actual pic of my prescription when I ordered the glasses. When I received them they made me feel drunk. My eye doctor put them in a machine and said the prescription in both pairs were wrong. The total opposite! -0.75 instead of +0.75 in the left lens of both pairs! Lensmart’s is denying they’re wrong and literally said, “Sorry. Your glasses were custom made from a prescription you uploaded.” This was my email today, after they asked for a video of the eye doctor testing them yesterday to verify I was telling the truth because their lenses are made in a trusted lab, in China! 😂 I’ve seen many people saying they screwed theirs up, too, and wouldn’t do anything about it. Some people said they refunded only the cheap frames, not the lenses. One other said they’re sending her new lenses and she has to put them in herself. 🤦🏻‍♀️ Don’t order from here!!

I ordered three prescription glasses and they are all blury. Not my script. The glasses itself have a yellow tint which is awkward. If you need prescription glasses I wouldn't recommend to buy it from lensmart. And now I'm fighting to get my money back without success. Very poor service. I ordered from other online shops without issues.

I ordered a pair of glasses from lens smart thought I would try something new. Received my new glasses prescription was completely off. I had exceeded the timeline in which I could return. No problem I simply wanted to return my lenses to them to see how off they were in prevent this from happening to anybody else. They were uncooperative wouldn't let me return the lenses yet I was asking for nothing! Needless to say I didn't even want to give them one star customer service I'm sure did what they were told but they have lost my business and back to zinnie I go.
