You Get What You Pay For
I chose LensFactory to replace my eyeglass lenses because of their pricing. They charge 50% less than getting my photochromic lenses replaced locally, so I went for it. My eyeglasses took 3 days longer to complete than quoted on the website. When they arrived, the left lens is distorted where it joins the frame. It does not affect my vision so I did not file a claim with LensFactory, but I am giving the 3 star rating because of the imperfection. This is an obvious imperfection that I would not have accepted from a local provider, but I guess I got what I paid for...cheap photochromic lenses that are less than perfect but good enough that I am still wearing them.

Hi Angela, I'm glad you were happy with our pricing... but we certainly hold ourselves to the same quality standard you would expect from a retail store. Sometimes the lenses fit too tightly in the frame after they are edged, which may be causing the distortion you're experiencing. Usually we catch it at quality control, but I'm sorry to say it must have slipped by. There's a good chance we can fix the fitting of the lenses we made for you and relieve the distortion. If not, we would certainly remake them for you at no cost. Do you have a backup pair of glasses? If you can go a little while longer without this pair, I can send you a prepaid box and label to send them back to us to make right. I'm also sorry it took us longer than you were expecting. We are continuously trying to shorten turnaround times, but our anti-reflective coating process has been adding some unexpected delays on some orders lately. Reach out to me and I'm sure we can help.
