Sent three pair off and were returned with new lenses in about a week. Just sent off three more pair this morning. So of the prices have increased for the lenses and to coatings. But still a good value.

On Amazon, for $24, I bought clear glasses with 5 magnetic sunglasses from the seller Jim Optical*. I asked them whether the lenses were glued in--they are not-- and so I was able to get Rx glasses for driving, with the sunglasses to go on top. This is about 1/5-10th the price of most optical shops, to get frames, lenses, and even one magnetic sunglass. LensFactory makes plain plastic lenses for about $50 (probably too thick for these frames, though), and polycarbonate (which I chose): lighter, thinner, and shatter-resistant for $80, for the most simple RX, "single vision." [The prices do go up with more complex Rx's.] I mailed the frames UPS to them first ($24 to get there in a week) and then realized that I should have just had Amazon mail the whole set directly, which I then did--faster, and free shipping with Prime. I contacted Support at LensFactory, and Andrea in Customer Service was GREAT. You can email the Rx to them and send the Pupillary Distance (from an optometrist office), and they can match up your order with the Amazon package. My glasses came back very quickly! A large selection goods and prices are reasonable

Replaced polarized sunglass lenses in a very old frame; the first set of lenses had a fit issue; when this was raised with LensFactory they immediately offered a re-do; second set appear to be perfect. I will be using them again.
