Pricing and convenience.

Just received my glasses. These are made with their thin glass, NOT plastic like all the rest! I was sick of my plastic lenses always getting scratched and hazzy! Well worth it, they weigh the same as my plastic ones, and I don't have to worry about scratches. The only downside is they took about 1 month to get to me. I still think it is worth it 👌

I have been quite happy with this company and the service it supplies. As this list goes... 5 stars for the savings! 5 stars for your customer service. 5 stars for accuracy in making my lenses. Here is where there was a loss in stars... Accuracy in shipment. I can only give a 4 star rating. I sent my frames and prescription info in December. Knowing it would take a week (or more) for turnaround, I was pleasantly surprised to get my glasses before the end of the year, but the glasses sent to me were not mine. While the process of returning the wrong glasses was simple enough, it is the uncertainty my glasses will come back to me and with the correct prescription lenses that I ordered. As I wait for my glasses to arrive (of which I am still waiting), I cannot give a 5 star rating. I understand mistakes happen, but this is the first time with you I am the recipient of such events. What is going to happen if my glasses are truly lost? Do I need to go on a search to find another pair of frames that I liked? Trust me... it was a search to find those frames. Then, how long do I need to wait with hopes it is right this time? Yes, it has been a disappointment and an inconvenience, but with my issue not resolved yet, this is the best I can offer at the moment.

No more worries about scratching plastic lens wiping sweat and sawdust off new GLASS LENS with my shirt

I have ordered from Lens Factory several times before with stellar results: new Corning thin and dark lenses at a very competitive price in about a week. This time I sent 2 new frames a couple of weeks apart. The first one came back in about 2 weeks. The wire frame was bent as if the had been slept in. I bent them straight enough to see from and then went to a local optician for help. He made things somewhat better, but he couldn't make the plain glass turn dark in the sun or remove the flaws in the glass itself. While this was occurring I received word that that Lens Factory had broken my new frames and ordered replacements so there would be a delay. I got the frames that I sent them in 2 days.I don't know why it took Lens Factory so long to get them. Ultimately I got 2 very nice pairs of Corning Thin and Dark glass lenses installed in my frames. I hope they get back to their normal performance by the next time I order.
