Ordered progressive lens and sent in a pair of Persol frames. The only way to make the lens "work" is to lift the frame off of my nose completely. I ordered a new frame/lens from Zenni ($63 vs Lens Factory $268 lens only) using the exact same prescription/PD and they are perfect (frame is almost an exact match in size as my Persols.

Transitions don't really darken much
I have ordered 3 pairs of transitions, the brown and grey ones and all three pairs only transition to 50%..I have other ones from a different company ( Walmart optical ) and those glasses do turn 80% dark in the UV. I am not sure if lens factory uses good qualities transitions

Didn't work for me
I had lens updated in two pairs of glasses and I can't wear either one. I think the problem is that they were progressives and that just requires a personal fitting. The service is easy to use and it seemed like a great solution but it was not successful for me.

Took a long time
Been over 3 weeks since I mailed my frames for lens replacement. I noticed that I was charged immediately, but am still waiting for the glasses. I can only hope the lenses are good ??

Poor communication on order, good service.
Never got a confirmation order was received. When I finally called customer service they were great, and very responsive. Reported glasses were being shipped the same day. They didn't ship for three more days. Good quality, fine product. Decent price.

I'm sorry there were problems with the shipping date. We are also working on improving our status notifications so you are better informed throughout the process. I'm glad you are happy with the quality of our lenses. Please let us know if there is anything else we can do to help make your experience better.

Took almost 1 month
Order took way to long, glasses seem ok. Some distortion in one lens. Overall not a great experience.

Hi,
I'm really sorry you have had trouble with our service. Trifocals do sometimes take us longer than standard progressives. If you would like for us to take a look at the distortion issue and see if we can correct it, we would like to do so. We can also find a way to prevent you from being without your glasses for so long. Please email [email protected]
We certainly want you to be happy with your lenses.

Delayed service with minimal communication and support
I was under the impression that lensfactory was speedy, highly communicative (its stated on the site that they provide status updates to customers on where the lens build/glasses development is). I've had to personally issue out emails requesting status of glasses to which both times, the response was delayed. Moreover, the response was very curt in appearance and didn't provide a very smooth and friendly service element. All in all, my impression of lensfactory has been sorely diminished and I question if I will ever come back.

Hi ChristIna,
I'm very sorry for the lack of quality service you have received. We have had some issues with response times lately and with the quality of our support, and I assure you that will not be tolerated.
We have suffered some of the growing pains businesses sometimes go through and are in the process of training additional staff. Quality of support is one of our highest missions and when we fall short, it is taken very seriously.
I've added $20 of credit to your account which you can use in addition to any promo codes on any future orders should you find yourself willing to give us another chance.
Warm regards,
Brandon Powers / LensFactory Founder

Would like to tell you how the glasses are, but am still waiting.....over a month......
This order started out in promising fashion on February 9, but things are not looking good. It took over a week, accompanied by several inquiries from me, before the glasses I sent in on February 12 were acknowledged as received. On February 25, I at last got an update saying they were in production, with an anticipated ship date of March 3. Since then, nothing but silence through now, aka March 11. At this point I have no glasses, obviously, little hope that this will end well, and most distressingly no communication of any sort. I fully realize there's been weather in Louisville, which could limit production options, but I'm guessing the internet hasn't been down all that time. So I really see no reason for the total lack of information.

Hi Karen,
I'm very sorry for the problems you've experienced with our service. You are correct that there was bad weather which did cause some delays, but that's not a good excuse for a lack of communication. We are working to resolve the issues you have had and are training additional staff to make sure we can keep up with demand.
I checked on the status of your order and it was shipped today. The specific product you ordered does take us longer than normal, but it certainly should not have taken as long as it did. Please accept my apologies.
Warm regards,
