Ridiculous wait times to get a RMA Number - POOR SERVICE!!
I have been on hold for 1 hour, 1 min and 48 seconds (and still waiting....) just to get a Returns Authorization Merchandise Number (RMA). They use COVID-19 as an excuse for the long hold and late shipping dates. Once I finally get an RMA number to return the pan I will not purchase from Le Creuset because of the extremely POOR customer service. I believe they keep you on hold excessively long hoping you will give up and keep the item. I also see why they say you have to call to get the RMA number - all other companies offer a way to print on a return label. Very Disappointed!!!

Horrendous Customer Service
I received a Le Creuset as a wedding gift, and the first time I used it it cracked! I called to see about a replacement and was on hold for over two hours with no response. All my emails went unanswered as well. I would not order this product!

Order through a retailer instead
Order through a retailer instead. My order arrived shattered from poor packaging. Le Creuset was unreachable. They don't reply to e-mails and it's not possible to get through to them over the phone - I left my phone on for hours and never got past the hold.

Don’t buy from Le Creuset website.
I ordered a Dutch oven a month ago, but I only got a free egg carton. I emailed them and called their customer service again and again. They never answered. I spent $250 to get a $60 egg carton. Don’t trust their website. They have a great promotion but it’s a scam that I never receive my item. I am going to dispute through my credit card company.

I ordered a Dutch oven over a month ago…
I ordered a Dutch oven over a month ago and received an empty box upon delivery, then after being on hold for over two hours I was hung up on. I can’t review their cookware cause I still haven’t received it but their customer service is the worse thing possible.

Amazing Cookware, Terrible Service
Manufacturing, yes, service, nope.
Bought 4 stoneware pieces from the online store. 2 delivered smashed to pieces. That's fine, stuff happens in transit. I had to submit two separate photo request emails to prove the pieces were damaged in transit. Annoying that these were 2 separate cases and email threads, but fine, there are scammers out there. A full month later my refund hasn't been processed. I know these are tough times with the current health situation. But come on. You were able to ship out the product, process the refund for shipping me broken glass. Too bad, because they make great stuff. I think the problem is they know it...

NO customer service!
After ordering two Dutch ovens online during their special COVID19 promotion sale, I received a confirmation email and a few days later a shipping confirmation for both Dutch ovens. When the package arrived there was ONE Dutch oven in the box. The second one mysteriously was listed as enclosed in the packing slip, but was absolutely nowhere to be found.
The following business day I reached out to their customer service. 54 mins and waiting a lovely lady answered my call and apologized for the long wait. When she checked my order she stated that there clearly was a missing Dutch oven that had to be resubmitted as an order to the warehouse and that it might take up to 7 business days for the rerouted order to be processed and a new email with shipping information would be generated. Meanwhile, 3 weeks have elapsed, in short, 15 business days... No word, no change to my order status on their website where I had registered, no nada. I'm now waiting on hold for my 3rd call about this item - 35 mins in and holding and holding and holding. Everyone has been polite. Everyone is inefficient and ineffectual. No oven, no refund, no nada.
UPDATE: It took 4 phone calls, the last one with a supposed supervisor, to get the ball rolling again. The number of excuses was astounding. "Waiting for the tracking number", last 3 days. I finally persuaded the supervisor to send it overnight so it would arrive before Mother's Day. But even that got messed up and it arrived the day after. All in all it took over a month to get this order. And a propos, I never received a tracking number and the site's dashboard still shows the same incorrect information: that both Dutch ovens were received together...
(Disclaimer: I love Le Creuset products, my kitchen is full of them. My review is not on the product, rather the experience purchasing from Le Creuset's US online store)
Can't believe how dysfunctional Le Creuset USA is. I'm guessing most of their issues stem from archaic technology (glad they use the time proven process on their products, but they absolutely need to modernize).
Here are some of the issues I faced (hopefully someone there can fix some of these issues!):
-Placed an order, confirmation went to spam folder (need to get an email delivery vendor to ensure this doesn't happen). Every other online vendor I order from has figured this out, I've never had an order confirmation go to spam before.
-Waited a few days, couldn't find any order confirmation (because I didn't check the spam folder), spent 30 mins on hold to get through and ask if the order went through (clearly they aren't staffed for support, nor do they have a twitter account for expedited communication). They checked the system and said they couldn't find my order.
-I placed a new order for the same items, and on the confirmation screen saw a big warning about checking your spam folder, which led me to find the original order confirmation. I immediately sent a support email asking to cancel my second (redundant) order.
-No way to check the first order status on the website because I checked out as a guest.
-After a few weeks my card got charged for the first order, no shipping confirmation email.
-After another week my first order shows up, at least the product is awesome.
-I start getting phone calls from Le Creuset's support team about a failed payment, I try to call back and give up after holding for 15 mins.
-Finally they email me back and set up a time to call me. The support woman states that they shipped my second order (which I'd emailed to cancel), but they failed to correctly charge me for it. After waiting 5 mins for her to try figuring out what happened on their end she finally agrees to intercept the product which was shipped a few days ago and to cancel my order.
Every interaction I've had with them has been painful... They don't follow modern e-commerce practices (email delivery, shipping confirmations, modern support channels), and I'll be happy to buy their products from other vendors in the future.
