No response from support
On June 2nd I received an email from Douglas Welsh at Le Creuset after a phone conversation where he had requested that I send him pictures of the dutch oven that I had called about. He told me that he needed to review them to see if it was under warranty. I asked also about keeping the old Dutch over for my mother since it had some sentimental value to her. He indicated at that time he would get back to me. I waited but didn't hear anything from him him. I followed up with a second email on June 11th since I thought I may have misunderstood him. Again no response. I tried again on July 15th. Still no response. Im not sure what to think here at this point. I'd like to hear from someone regarding my original issue and would hope someone at Le Crueuset would make the effort to reply. Updated 08.07.2020 - I’ve since sent another email to Doug as well as an email to support. I received no reply from Doug and automated response from support with no follow up after a week. I checked the Better Business Bureau’s web site and was surprised how many complaints have been filed against them. For a company that has such a well known name, you would think they would have respectable support practices. It’s obvious they don’t. Updated 06.02.2021 Almost a year later I get an email from Trustpilot on behalf of Le Creuset. The theme was they were trying to find out if I had a genuine experience and so they wanted a name, phone number and a reference number. I gave them what they asked for because I still had the original email. Will they do anything? It would be nice if they did but I’m not holding my breath. I’ll update if they actually respond.
