Be weary of this company. I have, in the past, applied for loans with them but would cancel them after seeing the payment amounts. Yesterday received an email that I had been approved for a high amount loan, which I never approved. Logged into my account and saw that I had opened up a new loan and saw that the account number was different than my current bank. Contacted the company and was told that the loan had been funded and I advised them that I did not authorize a loan. Also informed them That the account number used is different than the one I currently have. Also the account is based out of New Jersey and I reside in Texas. Someone would have to have known my social and my email to gain access to the account. I am starting to suspect that perhaps an employee may have been behind this.

We assure you that we have strict guidelines to monitor our agents’ activities and provide very limited access to customer information to make potential fraud as close to impossible as we can. We are sorry you are having to face this issue and Leap Credit takes this very seriously. We have cancelled the fraudulent loan at no additional cost to you and encourage you to report this to the major credit bureaus Experian, Transunion, and Equifax. Thank you for your feedback. Please find the ACH and debits authorization on the first 2 pages of your signed loan agreement. This authorization allows for flexibility in the payment amount being debited. Leap Credit is fully transparent about the conditions of your loan which are outlined for you to review and sign prior to the funding of the loan. I am set up for a certain amount every pay period and for some reason your system keep going into my account on unauthorized dates. Causing my bank account to be charged for insufficient charges. This has happened twice. Not happy at all. I have called your office and rep said they will take care of it. Every mentioned they will request me for reimbursement of the bank charges. I am very upset. Now today I see another charge taken out my account (third time) not the one set up for, what is going on. Every pay day period I put exact money in my account for each bill, if you take out something extra, it throws my account into negative, please do not do that. I put the exact amount in my account that we agreed upon. This is not good customer service.
