White Glove Test.
I had never been to North Carolina before our family trip to Laurel Mountain Retreat so I was not sure what to expect. I have to say I was very impressed with the whole experience. My Mother used to have a saying “You could have done the white glove test” which meant something was extremely clean and your gloves would not find dirt or dust if you checked. This was exactly what we found in the two cottages we had rented. The scenery was beautiful and owner gave us all kinds of information on shops, restaurants and things to see and enjoy. Could not have asked for more. It was the ideal getaway!
