great place! Loved the hot tub

I visited Laurel Mountain Retreat for the first time this weekend and overall it was a great experience! Communication prior to my check-in was clear and detailed. The cabin was clean, well-equipped and very cozy! In addition, the location is beautiful and peaceful. I definitely plan on visiting the Laurel Mountain Retreat again!

We stayed 6 nights at the Brookside Cabin which was perfectly ideal and also separate from the other 4 cabins for added privacy. Offers a great NC location to everything yet away from the hustle & bustle. The beautiful website pictures and the property descriptions/offerings were accurate plus the inside (built-in kennel under the stairs area) and outside (wraparound front/side porch) were perfect for us and our dogs. The cabin had all of the elements needed for our trip to be a great getaway and were thoughtfully provided by the very helpful owners----contacted them twice prior to our visit with misc. questions. Do be careful on the upstairs landing (step-down from bedroom to walk downstairs) and did wish the mini-split full air conditioner (on the lower level) was exactly duplicated on the second level (only a movable floor air conditioning unit was there) which all takes some quick getting used to. Super clean rooms which is also extremely important. Overall fantastic stay! Highly recommend booking and would enjoy again!

We had a one-story cabin with loft for kids (Red Bird) and it was wonderful! Very clean, super quiet, and somewhat secluded right next to the woods. It was great sitting on the porch swing or rocker drinking coffee in the morning or wine in the evening. It had a nice sofa, chair, large screen TV in the sitting room\bedroom; and table and chairs in the kitchen. Although we did very little cooking, we had everything we needed. Having a washer and dryer was a plus. About 5 minutes from several nice restaurants and shops in Weaverville. Highly recommend.

Clean and comfortable

We were looking for a place close to conveniences but also a place to rest and retreat from our busy lifestyle for the week. Laurel Mountain and the Evergreen Cabin was everything we could have hoped for. We were able to unplug and yet had everything we needed to grill outside, swing on the front porch to read a while, or relax in the hot tub. The cabin was clean and had we everything needed. Appreciated being able to do laundry and cook our own meals with everything supplied and at our fingertips. Really enjoyed our stay and hope to bring the family back!

The cabin was perfect for a weekend getaway! So clean and beautiful furnishings. The location was easy to get to, and you’re within minutes of the Biltmore and other Asheville attractions. We had a great weekend and will definitely stay here again!

We had a very relaxing time. The cabin was lovely. Everything was very clean and it was well equipped. We especially loved the hot tub, the porch swing and the gas fireplace.
