We had a great time at the cabin. There was an issue with the dish washer in our cabin. They gave us a few options to pick what worked best for us. In the end moved us to a bigger cabin, which was great. The location is very quiet and setback from roads, which was just what we were looking for. It's only a few minutes from Weaverville, where you can get nearly anything you could need. They even had a cute doggie basket full of goodies for our baby, which was very thoughtful and he loved it!

Loved everything about the cabin. Great set up, quiet and tucked away yet easily accessible to anything you’d want to do. Be sure to get there when it’s light out…can be a bit difficult to find in the dark!

This is a great getaway! The cabin in which we stayed was clean and pleasant, just big enough for my wife, me, and our dog (and maybe a small child or two). The hot tub was clean and very much appreciated. Reservations were easy to make and all of our interaction with the owners was very positive. The Biltmore is an easy drive and well worth visiting. We will definitely go back to Laurel Mountain Retreat!

We had a nice stay at Laurel Mountain Retreat. The Red Bird cabin is so cute and perfect for a couple to get away. The best part is that they are pet friendly so our Great Pyrenees was able to spend Thanksgiving with us. It was literally only 15 minutes from Asheville. The lady that manages the cabins is super friendly.
