My husband and I had a lovely one night stay at the Brookside Cabin. It was very clean, cozy, and perfect for what we needed. We could definitely see ourselves coming back here with our two kids and our dog in the future. There were some nice touches like board games and amenities for pets also. The location was great as it is close enough to restaurants and shops, but secluded enough to feel private and peaceful.

Review of Evergreen Cabin in Weaverville, NC
Evergreen Cabin is a charming and clean getaway in a beautiful, serene location near Weaverville. The property was well-maintained, and the amenities provided were adequate, including thoughtful supplies for our dog, which we appreciated.
However, I was disappointed with a few significant issues that impacted our stay. Upon arrival on a sub-freezing day, the cabin was only 62°F. It took many hours to heat the space to a comfortable temperature, which was inconvenient after a long trip. Similarly, the hot tub was also cold when we arrived and took overnight to reach a usable temperature, which defeated its purpose as a relaxing amenity for the first night of our stay.
Additionally, the appliances in the cabin were very noisy, particularly the refrigerator and HVAC system, which repeatedly interrupted our sleep throughout the night. This was an unexpected frustration, as a peaceful, restful environment is a major reason for choosing a cabin retreat.
Another issue was the misleading information regarding the Level 2 EV charger. The charger is not located at the cabin itself, and using it incurs an additional charge, which I found to be quite high. This detail should have been made clear upfront, as it was an unexpected inconvenience.
While Evergreen Cabin has potential with its cleanliness and thoughtful touches, the lack of preparation for guest arrival on a cold day, the noisy appliances, and the hidden cost of EV charging were major letdowns. These issues should be addressed to provide a better guest experience.

Wish you would have contacted us. These things could have been easily remedied had we known they made you uncomfortable upon arrival. The hot tub had been serviced the day before your arrival. Unfortunately, we did not catch that the technician had turned it down. We could have moved you to another cabin where the hot tub was heated up to 104 degrees and ready for you to enjoy.
The cabin has a great gas fireplace! It would have heated the cabin up in no time giving the wall unit time to catch up to your desired temperature. A quick flip of the switch is all that is needed.
Sounds like you missed the details in our listing about our onsite EV charger. "EV charging is not allowed at the cabin. Please contact us to make arrangements to use our onsite charger (fee)."
We have very positive reviews. Our listings include photos and details about the layout of the cabin. We're disappointed you didn't allow us the opportunity to improve your experience.

Quiet retreat
My husband & I traveled from PA to help with a few days of help with the disaster relief efforts. We got in around 3 am Sunday, unloaded our vehicle & went to bed for a few hours. In our delirium we did not notice the mini split on the lower level so it was a cold night of restless sleep. We took to room next to the bathroom - the bedroom is a bit small for a queen size bed & the tv mounted on the wall as it is - there was a bit of acrobatics required to get out of bed in the middle of the night if you’re the person sleeping against the wall. Space for clothes for two people was a bit snug as well - my clothes ended on the floor due to the limited space. Hanging of wet items (towels, washcloths, bathing suits) was another issue we faced during our stay. Other than these issues, the owners were great & very accommodating, even giving a discount for helping with the relief efforts. The cabin is very inviting, tastefully decorated, and the hot tub was a welcome relief after days on our feet.

Thanks for coming to the area to support relief efforts. The cabin has an armoire and closet, along with two luggage racks. We will certainly look to see if there is any opportunity for additional storage. You may be more comfortable in one of our studio cabins that have open floor space. We do hope to have you as our guests again.
