Terrible Customer Service
Good deals but you often get orders incorrectly shipped. When that happens, their customer service is non-existent. Response times are terrible. I have been waiting for weeks for someone to help address my last issue.

Last Bottle is your daily online purveyor of fine wines. As a member of our newsletter, we offer you one hand-picked wine per day until it sells out (often in hours) and ship it out right away. New day, new email, new wine. Always at incredible prices (30%-70% off retail). We’re not a wine club, there is no subscription — what you see is what you get.
Last Bottle Wines (lastbottlewines.com) has 90 customer reviews on Five Star Index, with an average rating of 2.3 out of 5.

I was introduced to Last Bottle several months ago and have placed multiple orders. My most recent received order was from their annual blowout. Whilst they were very clear that any orders placed during that time wouldn’t be fulfilled until late January. I was certainly fine with that. I received the bottle and upon opening the packaging it immediately appeared that the bottle was leaking. This was evidenced by the the leak within the packaging along with the side of the bottle , and an elevated ( raised ) cork. I have sent three follow-up emails to the Last Bottle only for them not to be acknowledged. I understand that they do not have a direct person to person contact , but the overall customer experience is not good. I’m reluctant in continuing any business with them. The deals are great but if you are looking for accountability ( service standards ) you unfortunately are not going to find that with this company.

I have ordered frequently, since 2013, an estimated 100+ orders. Recently, I reviewed my order status (all orders) and found 3 "pending shipment." I both emailed them and left a VM with CS. One order finally arrived. I then inquired about the other two orders, and have been ghosted since. I have sent 3 emails and left 3 VMs - Nothing. They even provided an option for them to call me back instead of waiting on hold. Nothing. UPDATE 2/7/26 - I have heard from the Pres. of the company and their CS manager suggesting replacements as they no longer have these wines. I have OK's a couple but still have received nothing. I'll update this if it gets resolved.

I have placed over 30 orders over the past 8 years, not a lot. I'm selective. My last order was placed Nov. 11, 2025. Email'd that it would be a while due to holiday rush. Shipment sent back to Last Bottle since neither FedEx or Last Bottle informed me it had shipped. Now I would like my refund. Three emails and two phone calls later, none of which have been returned, and I am done with them. I read the founders of the company sold it in 2021, explains a lot. Rated "F" by the BBB

Hi Patrick, Thank you so much for reaching out with this issue; I've been working with our customer service team over the past few days, and my understanding is that they have coordinated with GSN on your package. Please let me know if there are any other concerns you have and we'll address them immediately. Thank you!

Experience until May was good. Good wines at a fair price and delivery was good. But I have two outstanding orders, one over two weeks old and no shipments underway. They tell me that I'm in the queue but with no promise shipment date.

Hey Jim-- Thank you for reaching out to us about this issue. I spoke with my team in the warehouse, and they can confirm that one package departed the warehouse today, and the second is due out on Tuesday. We will add complimentary icepacks to the second package. I've also escalated this issue with our warehouse management so it does not happen again. Have a lovely Memorial Day!

I ordered three bottles of wine and paid for the ice pack since the weather in Southern California was hot. I was disappointed to get my wine AND THERE WAS NO ICE PACK. I sent an email to Last Bottle and they said they would credit me for the lack of ice. They credited my Last Bottle account and when I said I wanted the credit on my credit card they did that. When I said I was concerned about the quality of the wine standing up to the heat, they gave me a couple of choices. They said I could send the wine back. Or, they said I could sample one of the bottles and let them know if there was a problem with it. I told them i wasn't planning on drinking any of those bottles this soon and preferred to lay it down for a year or so. So now they wanted me to open a bottle to see if their mistake ruined the wine, even when that wasn't what I had wanted to do. I suggested returning the heated bottles and having them send properly shipped wine as I had ordered. The agent said they didn't have any more of that wine - hence the name Last Bottle I suppose. They have good deals on wine, but can't be trusted to ship the wine properly and there isn't a chance to get those bottles when you find out they messed up the shipping. And it's a hassle to have to go through procedures to return the wine. The agent was nice, but I don't like companies that inconvenience their customers for their mistakes. Probably wouldn't recommend a company like that.

Hey Larry-- I want to personally thank you for taking the time to share your experience. I completely understand your frustration, and sincerely apologize for the oversight on our part—both for the missing ice pack and the inconvenience this has caused you. At Last Bottle, we aim to make every part of your experience as enjoyable as the wine itself, and we fell short this time. I’d love to make things right for you. Here’s how we can move forward: Hassle-Free Return: You can return the wine for a full refund. All you need to do is print the return label we’ll send you and leave the package on your front porch for pickup. Wait-and-See Option: If you prefer to lay the wine down for a year as originally planned, I completely understand. In this case, if you find that it falls short of expectations in a year, we can add credits to your Last Bottle account for future purchases as a gesture of goodwill. That way, you can try another bottle if there’s any issue after you open these. Wine is pretty resilient, and there's a strong chance it'll be as delicious as anticipated. Please know that this incident isn’t reflective of our usual high standard, and I will personally make sure your future orders are handled with the utmost care. If you’d like to go with either option—or have another solution in mind—just let us know on your original email chain, and we'll take care of it right away.
