I am writing this review regarding a…fake and misunderstanding marketing campaign online
I am writing this review regarding a promotional advertisement I received directly from LaserAway via Instagram. The ad clearly stated: “$125 For Your First Instant Glow Laser Facial.” There was no indication that this was a consultation fee, a starting price, or a credit toward a package. It was presented as a promotional rate for a first treatment. I followed the exact instructions in the advertisement, completed the required form, and was contacted to schedule. However, when I referenced the $125 promotional offer, I was informed that there was no knowledge of such a promotion. After sending a screenshot of the advertisement I received, I still did not receive a clear explanation or acknowledgment. This raises serious consumer protection concerns. Advertising a specific price and then denying knowledge of it when a consumer attempts to redeem it can reasonably be perceived as deceptive or bait-and-switch marketing. Consumers rely on accurate and transparent advertising when making decisions about aesthetic and medical treatments. I hope LaserAway’s corporate management reviews this matter carefully and ensures that all advertised promotions are clearly communicated and honored across locations.
