I bought a 3 pack of IPL on Groupon. I'm experienced with IPLs and have had treatments at doctor supervised medical spas with success. I was a little wary, but the cost for 3 was around $100 when I paid $1,000 for 3 in the past so I was willing to give it a try. I saw little to no progress after my first two. The technician at my second appointment told me I'd probably need more. I don't know how many more, but after three I was happy with my results at the med spa. I told the technician on the third visit that I didn't see much to any results and she turned up the settings to the maximum. My forehead burnt and she saw I was flinching. Luckily she turned down the settings on the rest of my face so I just had a burnt forehead. Once again little to no results elsewhere. Everyone is nice here, but they really do an upsell and try to get you to purchase more treatments. I'm actually a sucker for that if I see results, but since I saw negative results I didn't purchase anymore.

The people who work there are nice. However two out of my three experiences have not been good. One of my experiences had me sit in my. room for 30 minutes in my towel while waiting for the machine to work, and then after that was asked to move to a new room. Which made me walk into almost the front area where people were sitting in my towel for everyone then To see me. My second experience was even more frustrating. I arrived 7 minutes late due to an accident. I called to see if I should reschedule to still come and was told to still come. I do not live close to a location so this was a drive for me. When I show up I sit in the waiting room for 10 minutes before someone told me that I could not be seen because I was late. When I explained that I had called, they still didn't seem to care and had me reschedule. I demanded to be compensated in some way for two poor experiences, and yet have not been offered anything. On top of all this, it is extremely difficult to make appointments around a work schedule. I have to wait months before I can be seen without taking time off from my normal 9-5 job.

The staff are lovely but the IPL treatment has been useless. I still have readiness and dark spots. I recently went to a dermatologist for some other reason and she suggested IpL. I told I’d just had two treatments. She said she could not tell AT ALL. I’m frustrated.

I’ve had several different treatment services from LA in Tustin and haven’t been happy with the results of any. No complaints about the staff, despite the fact that not a single appointment ever started on time. I was just in this week for my hair growth assessment after the completion of my 8 treatments for both underarms and Brazilian bikini, both of which I’d say were less than 10% successful. My bikini is literally 0% successful, underarms MAYBE 10% but I didn’t have very thick hair there to start. I also had a Cool Sculpting treatment in DEC 2018 and was super disappointed in the results. I had 5 different areas treated and really didn’t notice any results at all. The nurse even agreed in my post treatment consultation that she couldn’t see a difference in several of my before/after photos yet I didn’t receive any additional treatments to achieve the 25% reduction that was promised. Going back to the hair removal treatments, I’d like to comment that it is SO incredibly inappropriate that photos were taken of my bikini area and emailed the corporate office to “prove” that my treatments were unsuccessful. That is so invasive and frankly an egregious breach of my privacy to be forced to do that. At this point I am hoping that whoever reviews the photos at corporate will agree that the treatments were not successful, in which case I will be requesting a full refund. I have zero desire to continue any treatments with this company.

I had 3 ipl treatments all 3 weren’t worth one and keep pushing to spend thousands more and saying I can apply for credit to pay lousy not worth my time or money and who wants to go in debt for ipl lol

The UWS location in NewYork has such poor customer service. I have had my appointments changed/cancelled on me last minute (few hours before) several times. The place gets booked up weeks in advance so I can never find a convenient rescheduled time and end up missing treatments. The staff has made mistakes with the time of my appointment and treatment areas in their system numerous times. When you ask them to fix it, they seem annoyed at you. I can’t wait to be done with my treatments so I never have to go into this place again.
