EMS is basically a legal criminal organization. They lie about everything, hold funds for months without any reason or notice. Want to call your customers to verify orders??!!!! Seriously? Customer service is a joke and after spending a ridiculous amount of time trying to make sense of their non existent policy and system EVERYONE TELLS YOU SOMETHING DIFFERENT!!! Stay very far away from this place! They will put you out of business and continue to hold your funds for up to 9 months. BEWARE ANY POSITIVE REVIEW YOU SEE HERE IS ABSOLUTELY FAKE!!!!

This company has no customer service, they re run your bank info without making you aware there was a problem in the first place , then call you threating you as if you owed them for years, a one month fee was due, after paying several charges from them re running the account info 3 times, they give you no training on the EMS system so you dont even know what your fees or balance due are until they call threating to close your account, worst scamming processing company ever, dont not for any reason deal with them, you will be sorry, filing BBB and attorney general complaint also today.

They took money without asking and i cant get through to get a refund and my bank cant do anything

I am only giving EMS a 1 star because there is nothing lower. The company engages in shady business practice full of hidden fees and when you cancel, they hold all your reserve funds for 120 days. They also make it difficult to cancel.

Warning! Stay away from EMS aka Electronics Merchant Systems. Very shady company with scammy business practices. I had no idea I was even doing business with EMS until it was time to cancel my merchant account. $595 CANCELLATION FEE and auto-renewal of contract! I thought I originally signed up for a merchant account with "StartMerchant" but found out my account was actually sold to this company EMS. Buried in fine print on their crooked "contract" is an exorbitant and ridiculous $595 cancellation fee. And there is also a 2 years "automatic renewal" of the contract, meaning they are going to try to stick you with this fee no matter what! Was paying insane monthly fees on an account I wasn't even using, and then to add insult to injury they try to charge you $600 just to cancel your account. Stay away from this disgusting company at all costs! Even trying to get in touch with someone to try to cancel your account is a nightmare and they make it difficult by design!

Last year my NEW business lost out on over nearly 24,000 USD due to them not processing the funds that my potential customers placed. I can't recommend this company to anyone. Steer clear.

After I had to send treating messages and left negative reviews, they finally responded and said their was a “ glitch” in their system and the returned the $750.00 dollars taken out of my business account. They processed another payment for $1,000 never deposited that into the business account ran the payment Jan 2nd. They said they required additional information of the customer and that was provided to them never released the funds. I would not recommend this is a payment gateway to be used for your business! especially if you offer services such as construction Moving or any contractor work. Because I will let you know if you use this payment gateway when you charge the customer they will not release the funds to the business they hold them. They tried to say this was in the original payment terms I signed however I would have never moved forward with this service because they are holding small businesses processed payments for as long as they wish to, for no reason, and I’m sure if people knew this they would not use them to process any of their payments because how are you supposed to operate a small business when the merchant itself holds the funds and never releases them.. Original review: This business is a scam do not use to process payments on your merchant for your small business they will steal and lie and hold your funds even removing those funds from your business account and lie telling you any of this! All my calls are recorded she lied and I’m submitting to the FTC and state attorney general’s office!

How do i know if money has been sent to my bank?(paid out? This dashboard sucks to be honest) what do transactions in Deposit/Ach details tap signify?
