I wanted my small kitchen refurbished with new drawer fronts and cupboard doors. I also wanted a new sink. The salesman was punctual and pleasant. The man who came to measure up was also punctual and efficient. The cost was £3000.00. Then the fun began... I am in Kent. Kitchen Magic send their fitters out from Birmingham. One man arrived at about 10.30am. He unloaded the parts - no handles were sent so I had to go to B and Q to buy them. He fitted the cupboards and drawers. He removed my old sink and then cut himself very badly on the new one. Blood everywhere. By this time it was getting late and he made a very poor job of fitting my new sink with adhesives everywhere. It was 7pm and this chap still had to drive back to Birmingham! This is where Kitchen Magic fail. How can they pop back and sort it out tomorrow when they are so far away?? To be fair, they did send someone to look at it while they were in the area and did agree it needed redoing but my faith in them has gone and my own plumber is sorting out the mess. Expecting one man to drive from Birmingham to Kent and refurbish a kitchen in one day is asking too much of anyone.
