I got this for free through #pinchme and my dog really enjoyed it. However, the smell of this food is super offensive. Every time I opened it, it filled the kitchen with the smell. Otherwise, it must taste good because Zoey approved.
Response from KismetMay 14, 2026
Thank you. Zoey clearly knows quality. The aroma can be a little noticeable, but that comes with using real animal protein as the #1 ingredient in our recipes.

I received this as a free sample from Pinch me to try & review honestly. One of my dogs seemed to like this but my other fussy dog wouldn’t even look at it. It does seem to be a quality product

Thank you for trying Kismet. We’re glad the quality stood out, and we know every dog has their own preferences. Another recipe may be a better fit for your fussier pup.

While the product is good, it has been inconsistent. One bag will have a good portion of freeze dried bites and then the next month, the portion is noticeably less. For the cost, it would be great if it was consistent.

Thanks for sharing this feedback. We’re glad you see the quality in Kismet, and we understand how important consistency is. Sometimes the freeze-dried nugs can settle or get coated during shipping and look less noticeable from bag to bag, but we appreciate you calling this out as we continue working to improve.

My dogs weren't too thrilled about this for some reason. They are it, but didnt love it. It's not bad though! Maybe my dogs just didn't like it.

Thanks for trying Kismet. Sometimes dogs will prefer the salmon over the chicken recipe. Both are clinically proven to improve gut health in dogs. If you'd like to try the other recipe, please contact [email protected].

The website doesn’t remember who I am or keep my subscription so every time I order it’s like the first time.
Response from KismetFeb 4, 2026
Thanks for the feedback. As we update our digital experience in the coming months, we'll pay particular attention to the subscription management process. Someone from our team will reach out to see whether we can of any help in ensuring you're set up the way you want.

I am on a subscription and Kismet takes my money out and then delivery takes a week to deliver. This is not what I signed up for!! If you ask for a delivery date for subscription then that’s the date it should be delivered not a week a later. Otherwise dogs love the food but delivery really upsets me
Response from KismetJan 8, 2026
This is very helpful feedback. We understand how frustrating delivery timing can be. The date selected on a subscription is the ship date (not the delivery date), and we agree that should be clearer. We've notified our internal team. We’re glad your dogs love the food, and someone from our team will reach out to help make sure your delivery is set up the way you want going forward.
