I was looking for a ceremonial military tartan and found exactly what I needed. Because I was only using this periodically I needed something within my budget. I couldn’t justify spending 3x more on something I would only wear 1-2 times a year, this kilt is really nice.

While this kilt is well made and fits perfectly, the colour is much closer to a grass green than the mottled one shown. Really not what I wanted at all and as such I have not yet worn it out.

I ordered a complete outfit for my wedding and it is great! Really good quality and measurements. I will definitely order again as soon as I need something. Shipping to Germany was perfect as well, absolutely nothing to complain about.

Farquharson Ancient is an uncommon tartan for a low cost kilt and I was delighted to find it. The kilt itself is quite well made and fits well. The pleats are too big for my taste- I’d prefer them to be almost half the size but that would means lot more pleats I suppose. For the price, an excellent kilt for casual wear.

Ordered this a while back as a lot of manufacturers of tartan kilts are quite expensive ! Although having bought two kilts previously from Heritge Of Scotland they did not do Glencoe (or some others I looked for). Although their kilts seem more hardwearing, I wasnt sure when I first got my Glencoe kilt from Kilts & more but just recently having been to Scotland and worn it, it was wonderful ! The material was soft and cool in the midsummer heat and it looks the part ! I would be inrtereted in purchasing again if they had the Hays tartan (which Im related) or Northumberland Tartan (where I presently live). Well worth buying and Im going to have another browse on their website now :D
